This is Newyn's post about Cuth being a scum voting a fellow scum(Visor), jokingly.

Shortly after, Visor makes this post, in response:


I could very well see this being Visor scum with Cuth, trying to make Newyn look bad with him. Take a look for yourself:

Notice how he doesn't mind making further posts about this joke, as Newyn jokes back, and how he also mentions Cass, trying to pull her into the joke. Cass responds, also being in on the joke, and Visor is quick to also want to joke with her.

Meh, I hate explaining this - my gut feeling is that this is very much the case, just can't make it clear with words or simply quoting. But those are my thoughts, that Visor is trying to make Newyn and Cass look bad for later time in the game, abusing the "luck" that Newyn started the joke with a correct guess that Cuth is voting a scum buddy -> so it will look bad for Newyn, since he was the one starting the joke.
It is much in line with what I expect from a player like Visor(based on my impression of his mindset this game).


Also, notice this is towny of Cass - while she is in on the joke, she is still questioning/voting me, still having focus on solving:


Shortly after this joking about being scum buddies, Mat93 pops in, because he sees his scum buddy Visor joking in thread, and also wants to be a funny scum(how cute):

Is his response to Visor saying "Its D1. Lets just mislynch a villager.".

And here we have Cuth, also joining in shortly after - look how TMI this is if Newyn is in fact town:

Why even say that? lol. Why would the conclusion be that one of them have to be scum, and why ONLY one? wouldn't it be the logical thing at that point, to suspect they are scums together ,getting fancy in thread.


And Visor is quick to follow up on his tactic of throwing shade on Newyn:


Again, I can't really explain it better than quoting it and telling my thoughts, but I feel highly convinced of this theory(that Visor+Cuth are scums, and Visor was opportunistic when seeing a chance to make Newyn and Cass bad for future part of the game)

Also, here is Visor telling Cuth that Glossy is Lenore:


After this post, him and Glossy has several interactions, and Glossy has in no way denied to be Lenore, while(in my opinion) posted like she usually does(meaning Visor has no reason to change his mind on thinking she is Lenore).
Just look at page 8: this is where it happens http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=561948&page=8 - notice there is nothing that should had made him in doubt if it is Lenore.
Yet this posts suddenly comes, when Glossy talks about his play style:

On PAGE 11 !!! look how much they talked from page 8 to the point that he suddenly asks who she is. It makes 0% sense why he would be in doubt of that.



"Well if you are Lenore".... He knew she was Lenore, I have absolutely no doubt. I pointed this out already yesterday, and I do it now again, because it is so clear evidence that he is in a scum mindset.

Also, lets go back to Page 8, here is further evidence of Visor+Cuth being scum partners:

Look how Cuth sponges Glossy when she says that Visor is playing off his meta. Then when Visor asks Cuth what his meta is, Cuth answers:


LOLOLOL - that answer is terrible. He has just said that Visor is playing off his meta, yet he don't know what his meta is.

Visor knows that makes no sense, so he replies:


But notice, that he doesn't call Cuth scummy for it. He only points out the logic flaw, but he doesn't make the conclusion that he is scum. Why? If Cuth is town, why wouldn't he use this to scum read him? I mean, it's a perfect catch of a huge logic flaw.
He doesn't, because they are scum buddies. It's that simple.

He puts Glossy+Cuth in same box, saying none of them knows his meta, so he avoids to further mention how bad those posts of Cuth were. Smart.

This is all evidence I care to serve for you, for today, as for who the scums are. I feel just as sure that Mat93 is scum, almost also that sure with Murska, Xym and Landlubber. Especially now that I see how Newyn are probably never scum with Visor(even though Newyn's own posts could make it seem like it).

I repeat, the scum team is: Visor+Cuth+Mat93+Murska+Xym+Landlubber. Tonight you will see the scum team NK'ing a vanilla town(me), hoping you will forget this and goof enough that they can still win.

Just look at their(Mat93, Murska and Landlubber) scummy reactions and convenient pop-ins today, in the short time after I made my post declaring them the scum team.
Also, notice how Visor have done absolutely no solving today - he is in full blown commentator mode, only trying to see if he can cause some confusion. This is NOT town Visor.
Also, notice how he turned his strong town read on me from yesterday, into a vote today, after I made my first post, calling him and what I believe was the majority of his scum team scums. I had said it would be all from me today, so he probably thought that was an opening for him to push a lynch on me. He knows I'm vanilla town, as I claimed that yesterday, so he would prefer not to have to NK me.

So, it's simple guys/girls, just follow my reads - I've done unhealthy amount of work to assemble the pieces in the puzzle that is this game, so don't let that be wasted, please.

IMO players who were previously willing to vote him/called him scummy but didn't vote him when they had the chance are just as/more concerning - ie. Murska, Legato, Lassie.?

Were those players around when the choxwagon started? It was pretty late in the day. I think it's only particularly odd that Lassie didn't vote chox. He initially expressed an unwillingness to lynch choxorn:

Ah you said Chox - I don't mind a lynch of him either, but he's not as scummy to me as Cuth is, and Cuth is more viable as a wagon. Like, I'm about to leave now - so voting Chox isn't really optimal for me.

Then immediately voted choxorn:

The sequence above demonstrating that Lassie never wanted to lynch choxorn. Then at start of d2 he makes his big list and makes zero mention of choxorn here or anywhere else (plus he has two dead townies as townreads lol, which makes it seem like he copy-pasted his "who to kill" list from scum qt).

I'm glad you brought up that point, because on reflection it does make Lassie look bad. Though I think all of this shows that people were never really that crazy about lynching choxorn, and only formed a wagon on him because there was no time to think it through.

What are your reasons for thinking Choxorn is/was a good candidate for scum? I haven't seen if you've actually given/explained a read on him? You also didn't give your opinion when I called you and the others out for consolidation.

I don't think I ever said choxorn was a good candidate for scum, I said I didn't think he was a bad lynch because he was acting sheepy (which is in his scum meta, though in fairness he does also tend to agree with me a lot when we're both town). Thinking about it now, chox has been putting too much effort in justifying his votes and discussing stuff to be wolf. Usually as scum he tends to coast along.

Which of the people willing to CFD do you find most suspect and why

I don't know that I find it suspect per se, I just wanted to hear the explanation for why no one who was willing to quicklynch choxorn yesterday is even talking about him today. If I had to pick someone I'd say Al Sipsclar for what was really low-effort.

Sorry, you're not feeling well, Pizza. I am both happy and daunted to see how huge this thread is. I've scanned the last 10 pages or so, and this doesn't read as Visor's scum self. Lassie's analyses don't feel quite right to me, probably my top suspect, but they're out there enough that I want to see them tested. It's almost certainly too late to shift the votes today, but I will vote:Xym as he felt off to me as well and is on Lassie's list.

Numbers are post counts at the time. I can understand leaving off the low posters, Chox and KM stand out there for being left out despite content though.

Agree with his progression on Chox looking sus. He weighed in and called Chox sus earlier when I asked for comments. IIRC he mentioned Chox was an ok alternate lynch just before the quotes you brought up.

On the other hand, I can understand shifting vote to Arakhor for self-pres . I ?think this makes sense given the vote counts at the time.
