This is nothing new, it's been in the works for years. Luckily this conflict in Ukraine has put them closer to us as they have lost one crucial piece to counteract their dependence. Turkey teaming up with China does sound cute, however I doubt it will last for too long. As soon as the new silk route (belt and road initiative) goes straight through Asia Minor, Turkey will suddenly find itself in a lot of debt to the CCP. Followed of course by Chinese backed Marxist sympathetic Kurds who will take over to make a more Sino friendly "new, new Turkey" as you would put it.

The democrats and their spook pals conspired to kill Biden's laptop story in the media. This was yet another round of the false news spread by an alliance of spooks, democratic party and most media, starting with "russiagate".

All the lies have been transparent to anyone with a bit of critical thinking. Tribalism makes half the politically engaged population in the US pretend very hard to believe them. Behind all this is just the fight between "democrats" and "republicans" to capture and hold bureaucratic posts, with all the personal corruption advantages that come with them.

When democrats lost to Trump they turned to an alliance with the neocons and their spook wing for some advantage in the fight for power. Those could manufacture "russiagate". They were willing as Trump had talked of reducing foreign entanglements: meaning reducing jobs and corruption profits for them. The bureaucracy struck back, the democrats gained assets.

But Biden's corruption is like Scholz's corruption, or Macron's corruption. It gets drawn into the light only if he displeases the oligarchic collective. The owners of the "freedom of the press". It's what makes him a "safe" politicians for oligarchs to back: they can take him down if he turns on them. Looking at the recent episode and how it has been disappeared from the day news, it was a chiding, a reminded. I still don't see though what he was doing so off-script to cause that.
