Blue Marble V3.0

I have a problem with roads, but I'm not sure if this is caused by BlueMarble (which I love BTW). I play in 1280x1024 w/ max settings, and cannot tell paved roads apart from railroads. The only solution is to zoom in or check each tile individually. Very annoying. Anyone else?

I just want to get rid of the one on my adviser screen.

How to change water (ocean) to the original "blue" color ?

Sorry, Azazell, but this should work. Blue Marble is a file based mod, and if you remove the modded BM files the BM mod goes away. The only exceptions from the path I gave you are BtS:NextWar and BtS:FinalFrontier, here I had to mod the original files in the program directory (Civ4 cannot handle CustomAssets of mods). So if you do not play any of those BtS mods, BM goes away if you remove the modded BM files in CustomAssets.

Just discovered this Mod, and wanted to write and say how wonderful it looks.
I feel that the original graphics were very nice, but these are something else and it is now gone to being very special indeed.
Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful.

One thing.
Apparently thee will be a new Firaxis patch in a month or so.
Will I need to re-install Blue Marble all over again, or should I uninstall BM before patching with the next patch. and reinstall BM afterwards?

Question for the designer.
When entering the Modern Era, the maps all revert back to stock BTS type, and I lose all the Blue Marble enhancements of the terrain completely.
Is this a known issue?

It looks stunning - as long as it lasts!

Something like this never has been reported before, sorry.
Perhaps you are using a modded version of the Modern Era?

Does this mod work with the Steam version of Beyond the Sword?
No, not by default (I do not have Steam). Steam uses another directory structure, and the problem in this Steam configuration is that the directory "Beyond the Sword" is not a subdirectory of Civ4's program directory anymore, what is the case with each CD/DVD installation. I heard somebody was able to install Blue Marble on this Steam-configuration by putting a file "Civilization4.exe" (usually available in the the CD installation directory) into Steam's installation directory (Sid Meier's Civilization IV Beyond the Sword). This way it would look like a regular installation again to the Blue Marble installer. The BM installer then had to be started from this directory with the "dummy" Civilization4.exe.

a small report about blue marble...
I am playing civ with blue marble low rez in a cafe. Some guy who was sitting behind me walk up to me and ask me if I know about google Earth cuz he's using it. He thought that I was using google earth and his doesn't look anything like my screen and he wondered if there's something wrong with his google earth... hahahaha.

is there a way to have it load as a mod so that it would not interfere with multiplayer capabilities? (BtS if it matters)

BlueMarble is designed to be compatible with all Civ4 multiplayer games. The only two exceptions from this rule are the official BtS mods "NextWar" and "Final Frontier", because here the original content had to be modified. Before playing these two mods in multiplayer you should use the BlueMarble installer to temporarily uninstall BlueMarble.

I downloaded the mod, but it says it hasn't found Civ4, would I like to search for it...and I do, but it wont let me choose warlords, only regular civ4. help?

EDIT: nevermind, just installing it for regular civ4 works for warlords too. great mod!!!

Bitter.
