I don't want to fight.

I would like to state I meant download via iTunes.. hence limiting myself to just the one album. I do not condone piracy and neither should you!!!

I'd say "no Direction Home", aka the bootleg series. Good mix, and stuff which has seldom been heard before

Moderator Action: You should not download any Dylan album since we have zero-tolerance on piracy. You should borrow from library or buy Highway 61 revisited, since it's probably the most classic of his albums.

Are you ******** or living under a rock? Are you not aware that music can be purchased and downloaded legally?

Im going through notes. I found this. Interesting thing.

This is Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, one of America’s last great rock ‘n’ roll bands.

Thank you. I wanna thank Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers for backing me up tonight. I must say certainly the best band I've ever worked with. On the keyboards, Benmont Tench. On the drums, give him a hand, Stan Lynch. On the bass guitar, Howie Epstein. Lead guitar, Michael Campbell. I especially wanna thank Mr. Tom Petty himself. Thank you Tom.

I have a 40-page document about the Australia/New Zealand/Japan tour that I had just found. I don't know if I should upload it. I don't want rude people saying mean things to me about it.

It includes a lot of what Bob says between songs on certain shows. But there are a lot of [inaudible]'s. Which is kind of funny.

Im not sure where I got it from.... I know I didnt compile it myself.

Would these be the performances at the Farm Aid benefit you were talking about?

EDIT: There's a lot more videos of those performances of Tom Petty and Bob Dylan on Farm Aid's youtube account.

Yes those ones. I really like Petty's performance of "Don't Bring Me Down" that he did.

Nirvana was grunge, not metal. And while the song was admittedly a bit heavier than I'd expect from Petty, it wasn't grunge. Most successful artists will explore the boundaries of their genre. Hell, The Devil Wears Prada did a piano ballad. Few have done so as well as Dylan.

lurker's comment: Grunge also necessitates whiny twenty-something Generation X-ers, which, obviously, Petty was not.

Well Petty screams in the song.

Well he doesn't sing in a monotone. Tom Petty can scream when he needs to.

Your point being...?

Tom Petty is not a whiny monotone. Anyways there is no need for introductions. This is a thread to discuss the Dylan-Petty tour. Which is a very wonderful subject!

Which you seem to be ignoring at almost every turn!

Which is because people are talking Dylan in general! Which is not the intent! Which is being ignored! I can post nice stuff! About the tour! But nobody cares!
