Bug reports and technical issues

This is my last game as China. It seems the bug is triggered when China conquers Turfan. The bug appears to be a weird commerce and production bug which gives wild results of hundreds of thousands of hammers and gold.
I can't reproduce this, do you have a save from before conquering the city?

Is the mod supposed to take a few minutes to load , because while I was playing 1.10 it loaded very fast but when I started using SVN and 1.11 it takes a few minutes to load

That game's been overwritten now and I can't find the auto saves from the China game. I'm playing Germany now and facing super independents ! In this game I managed to undo to the bug by getting rid of Turfan through world builder and replace it with another city from a different independent. But the teching of the independents was still weird. I'll try and replicate that game with China and send you the save later today.

But even the 1.11 release version ?
Has a bit more art and music, but should not load significantly slower than previous versions.

There's little typo in the Setup Map text.

In Rhye's and Fall of Civilization, vassal stases are enabled by the discovery of monarchy.

Correction: states.

Leoreth, I played another game, and the same bug happened that happened when I played the Moors. Golden Ages glitch stability for everyone.

I replayed China on the 1700 AD scenario again to get the super Dunhuang bug. But this time I didn't get it. The last game which I played and received this bug, I actually conquered Korea and Thailand by 1760 and Turfan around 1790.

Though this time I had to see an altogether different bug. By 1760, I got a message saying I failed goal 2 of the UHV. I got the same message again in 1800 ?! Even so this is the first normal China game I'm playing.

Hi. I just reinstalled Civ 4 BTS after a hiatus. I downloaded and installed RFC DOC 1.11. I don't have any other mods, mod mods, or the SVN installed, and I'm running on Windows XP. I did a 3000 BC start with Isabella and started playing a little bit, but after passing the current turn I always get a game crash. If anyone could offer any help, I would appreciate it very much. I also have a few autosaves from previous turns if that would be helpful. Thanks!

Edit: I was able to restart from an autosave on turn 200 and get past the previous point where I was crashing. I'll try playing some more later and see if I still have any problems.

this could have been solved already but last night I found a solution to the "city ruins bug" where a new civ spawns on top of an existing city and that city appears as ruins. I got around it by unrevealing the city tile to the civ in question and then revealing it again. I had this occur during the spawning process so its invisible to the player.

Oh, that's a great idea, I'll try it immediately.

2 new interesting things: I captured Buda with HRE and it got renamed to Budapest.

The barbs destroyed the city and it got automatically re-founded by neutrals with 3 horse archers in it.

I've tested 3000 B.C, 600 A.D and 1700 A.D and in all of them, Britain makes very little effort to colonize Australia. Infact, in the 600 A.D map I've played, it is 1975 A.D, and there's only one city in Australia, Brisbane, which is an independent since Britain collapsed.

In all three, is appears that China barely makes it as well.

Also in all three, India never respawned, but we can assume it's because of a politically stable Mughal empire.

Is there a reason for this happening?

I usually see Britain colonising east Australia fully, though they leave the west for the Dutch to spam crappy cities in.

I'm having a problem loading Brazil and Argentina, whenever I load a game through the option the game crashes. Now I have a very bad computer, so I'm not entirely sure if it's a bug or just my computer. In that case any advice on how to make it work on my sub-standard computer.

The other problem is that in my victory screen after the game ends, there is no map, I just see colors but no map. Again, not sure if it's the computer or the game. The only other place I've had this particular problem was trying to play Civ 4 on mac ! O.o

Small nitpick: As Rome I built the AP, which obviously triggered the Orthodoxy event. All is normal, but I was quite suprised to see "Greece has converted to Orthodoxy!" when they were currently good as dead.

Otherwise, good mod, thanks for the work.
