Bug reports and technical issues

OK, I've checked it, and it turned out I gave wrong description of the situation.

Now check the difference between the two scenarios. There's a silk missing in the 3000 BC one, and that's the problem I wanted to point out.

There used to be instead, another silk spawning on the peak 1S of the Kashgar silk, but not anymore. It's now completely missing in the 3000 BC scenario.

Oh, you meant 1S of Samarkand. I thought you were talking about Kashgar.

A small bug to report. The third colombian goal is set to failed before 1950AD. Maybe every time a civ discoveres astronomy the third colombian goal is set tofailed.

Thought I got rid of that, will check again.

A bug that I don't think has been fixed yet: Say you play Egypt and settle you city on the stone. You don't have Masonry yet so you don't get the improvement bonus. Later you researched Masonry and graphic shows three hammers on your city. But open city screen and do the math, you'll find out you didn't actually receive those hammers. A fraud it is.

I'll load up pictures later to show this bug.

There should be logic somewhere that checks all improvements and updates them and their working cities. I suppose the city tile is not included there yet.

In 1700AD scenario the trading company shoud be prebuilt in Portugal, Spain, Netherlands and England. Moreover, consider changing the Moorish core or the moorish names. Morocan republic spawned without controlling Marrakesh!

At last SVN, 600AD, in my French game, England seems to have no starting techs. Could anyone verify it?

Three squares remain Foreign in Historical territory. All for Spain, and all in the Rockies. Specifically, the Stone 1N of the lake, the square 1E of the lake, and the square for Colorado (1SE of the square 1E of the lake). If these are intentionally Foreign (to discourage the AI, or some historical reason I'm not aware of) then they can remain so. Just bringing it up in case this is an oversight.

Does not reproduce with a HRE start.

Spanish control over NA was always tenuous. I don't think they did anything in the Rockies that would justify them being historical.

Yeah, but if they have all the tiles around it as historical there's no reason for that tile to not be. It's better to be consistent; i.e. either have all of that area as historical or none of it as historical.

A case of the AI acting oddly. In my games, when AI Persia gets a Great Prophet, they rarely use it to build Adur Farnbag. Instead, they usually use it to gain Theology, resulting in Catholicism being founded around 400 BC, and killing any chance of winning the UHV as Ethiopia. Is anyone else getting this problem?

Version?

In 750 Arabia founded Catholicism once, and Persia doesn't always survive. Check my Ethiopia game in the UHV thread.

It was in 758, the version that was most recent when I made that post, and one version old as of now.

I think I've figured out why it was happening. Due to AI Persia automatically flipping Jerusalem, its first Great Prophet always appears there - and due to the new stability mechanics, Babylon is almost always still alive when said Prophet spawns, denying it access to Persepolis. I don't know whether it's bad luck on my part or AI incompetence, but Persia seems to favor founding Catholicism over settling that Prophet in Jerusalem.

And I find your claims of Arabia founding Catholicism extremely suspect, considering that it has a scripted founding if no one discovers Theology by a certain date.

I do not have a picture,but Isfahan looks like a city ruin,but it isn't.

Are you playing in 1.11? Because if i'm not wrong this bug is already fixed in SVN.
