My company is making software for aeronautics, and I'm the product manager for the aeronautical procedure design software. It's not for the airlines, but for the civil aviation authorities.
The red countries have aeronautical procedures designed with my software. Orange countries are on going project.
(grey countries are future customers

).
The blue dot represente the offices where the software is installed (like in Dakar, they make the procedures for 15 African countries).

Why so many French speaking in Africa, but no Canada? Why so many blue dots in France, and one lost in some random place in China?
Many French speaking countries in Africa, because ASECNA (the air safety agency that manage 15 countries) have been set up by France (one of the best exemple of succesfull decolonization by the way), and so we hav strong links with them. Same for North Africa.
Canada host two competitors, and is influence by the US reguation (which is specific).
The lost dot in China is a cooperation project done via the Midi Pyrénées region which is twinned with Sichuan.
@Mise : I did build the map myself, using the Geographical Information System used a midleware for my software.
@Marla: send me a CV with a picture of you in bikini (I'm joking, the bikini is not mandatory), so I can answer we can't hire you, but we'll keep your reference for later. Unless you are a very good sale agent, then that could interest us. We don't hire much as we have highly specialized and skilled people, and it's not easy to find someone able to work with us.
