While the german forces on this picture might look impressive, they had forgotten a small detail in armoured warfare; the crew needs to be inside the tanks for them to work. Same goes for the walkers, by the way.
 
And yet, a 5-year old who accidentally kicked a soccer ball at that walker brought it down. That's why Germany didn't overwhelm Stalingrad easily.
