Capto Iugulum: Building the 20th Century

We disagree. New Britain stays.

And how do you plan on developing and supplying an outpost halfway around the world? With the construction of our Imperial Siberian Railroad, we will be able to develop not only the coast, butthe interior as well.
Plus, as you vacated the colony, it significantly lowers any claim you have to the region.

OOC: My internt was out at home yesterday and I'm at work right now, so I've only been able to view the thread from my phone (hence any misspellings) and thus I can't see the maps. All I'm going on is what EQ posted and told me earlier, so feel free to correct any mistakes I'm making

About Central Africa:
We do not completely agree with the Scandinavian proposal, as it seems to eliminate all previous colonies placed there. We suggest that a new map is drawn, where all previous claims are expanded on.

About Alaska:
We prefer the Japanese plan for Alaska.

About China:
Although we would have liked to have more of China, the plan accepted by the other members of the coalition is acceptable.

I'll confirm the claiming of Persia now. feel free to send any notes about it I should know EQ. I'll do some trawling in the updates for any news concerning them, and read up on it.

It would appear that there is more consensus around the Japanese plan for Alaska, so we have no choice but to accept.

What's the Spanish opinion regarding our proposal for Hawaii?

Seeing as consensus has been reached on a number of points, we have made a map to show the points that have apparently been agreed on. This map also shows all Paris and Burgundy's claims in Africa and elsewhere. It also contains the Swedish proposal for southern and central Africa, to which we have added a suggestion of how north-west central Africa might be organised.

We do not see the issue with our central African proposal. The areas left blank by the map are considered to be the prerogative of other powers that have more legitimate interest in those regions, and those areas that have been filled in have been accepted by all parties save for Spain. What specific issue does Spain have with the proposal?

We support the Japanese Alaskan proposal.

(I edited the African map from northernstyle 2008, the status of areas that have not been given to a specific power is not an actual proposal regarding their sovereignty)

Denmark and Portugal also accept the proposal.

I would mention that there's still that bit west of Abyssinia which needs to be figured out. Either to Spain, Scandinavia, or the Dutch.

We present the following proposal for a Scandinavian-Spanish partition, as agreed between ourselves and the Empire of Spain. We are willing to offer passage up the White Nile to all nations with colonial claims in the region.

Sorry about the previous post. After some actual thinking, I'd like to be considered an option for Austria.

The British navy is world-spanning and our presence in East Asia can only be described as "significant." We have as much a claim to the region as you, and the only reason we vacated the colony was because it was under threat from Chinese barbarians.

I was under the impression I kept Beijing. Apparently not.

Anyway the Ascendent Kingdom of Holy China would formally like to proclaim all European claims to Chinese land null and void. We shall continue to attempt to murder you all.

I don't approve of the Central African map regarding our South Western African colony, unless we are compensated else-where.
