Obligatory thread, there are always few surprising details. Such as
Heh, third time/place posting this, but Horses aren't visible from start anymore, they're revealed by Animal Husbandry.
EDIT: was reading wrong patch notes, this change is documented but is valid only in GS games.
Save/load configuration is also available for multiplayer games
Hasn't that always been the case?
Clearly says it right there in patch notes.
No, very frustratingly it hasn't (until now).
They added it for single player in an earlier patch.
It no longer defaults to showing tiles. (I had to manually toggle tiles off every time before this).
My question is what changes were made to Japan’s electronics factory?
La Venta colossal heads now grant tourism after flight is researched
Phil's Inquisitors are now 100% effective at removing rival religions from cities.
Isn’t that what all inquisitors do?
It's an addition to El Escorial, so maybe regular Inquisitors have been nerfed.
The civlopedia says 75% on the regular inquisitor's page, so I suppose so
Alcazar now gives 2 culture (Maybe same as before?) and also science equal to 50% of the tile's appeal (Definitely new!), and can't be adjacent to each other (not sure?)
Coastal Resorts can be built on volcanic soil. Hawaii confirmed
Does anyone know if these remove forest/jungle?
You are now forced to return/cede cities in peace deals. All cede-able cities are automatically put in the deal and if you try to remove one it will automatically put in the return option on your side of the deal.
Oh, that is significant.
That doesn't make any sense. I mean maybe it's true, but it still doesn't make any sense.
I wonder if cede actually does anything now...
