And whether it has an ill effect on you is up to you in this particular case. You want to view it as a negative, then it will be negative....OR, you could view it as a positive, and then it would be positive.

It's something I cannot undo and I want to be the one who makes the decision whether I choose for God or not. Not my parents.

Baptism isnt a 'get out of hell free' card. You can, and probably have, pretty well undone it.

I have known a lot of people who, although baptized as infants, got re-baptized as adults because they wanted it to be an adult decision they made for precisely the same reason.

Bottom line, you need to realize that it is indeed 'YOU' that makes the decisions in this regard. Not whether you were baptized as an infant.

Sorry, didnt read this until I had typed everything up. Won't make another comment about it then. But it is an interesting debate topic in regards to baptism.

It was most probably acid instead of holy water. BTW, I agree with MobBoss on this.

While I am not against the practice, I will not have it done to my children and I have not had it done to myself. Of course male circumcision is no way related to female circumcision, which is totally barbaric.

Logically, if your glans is out and about in your pants all day, then it will become desensitized. None (none?) of us can truly speak on the matter since we haven't experienced both. Circumcised people will tout that they can feel just fine, while that is more or less irrelevant since they've gotten used to it.

Let me put it to you like this. You know the glans part that you always have touching every part of your underwear and what not? For me, it's the foreskin that touches the underwear. If it comes undone or anything, then I start experiencing much discomfort. I don't like to touch it to anything else, and I like to keep my foreskin on during non-sex occasions since it's so damn sensitive.

I would say that on average, by a purely logical conjecture, circumcised penises are less sensitive (more desensitized) than uncircumcised penises.

Now whether that's better or not for lasting longer in bed is irrelevant, since there are plenty of other ways to last longer in bed (other than feel less), and as many have pointed out, quality rules over quantity.

During the first months of my new penis I felt that a bit too sensitive and strange, but nothing special (except for the logical pain of the suture). After getting used to it, I don't think that anything has changed.

Since I had paraphimosis, I'm glad it was done because this means that I can have sex without ending up with a necrotic penis.

No. In some ritual circumcisions the foreskin gets only partially removed (a muslim friend told me he got his foreskin partially removed. And according to what he told me, most muslims do this). In a medical circumcision the foreskin gets always (or almost always) totally removed.

Just vote "I disagree"; disagree doesn't necessarily mean that you're gonna camp outside the Town Hall and protest. Disagreeing could mean anything from hating it (but not wishing to impose your beliefs on other parents) to not really giving a damn but not willing to do it.

No paraphimosis. Being able to have sexual life is worth a foreskin.

As someone who's had a circumcision as an adult, I can say that in my experience there's no difference in how hard (no pun intended) masturbation is.
