I'm confused, will this be pay to play (in which case I will likely not be using it) or will it be paid for by selling commercial space or something?

dude you're gonna be testing the new game...don't confuse yourself too much![]()
I have Civ 5. Its pretty good. Nothing amazing, but a couple expansions will yield a brilliant game. I still prefer my civ 3 and 4, but I will say that the new combat system is wonderful.signed to OPs group, it looks like quite a few have already. do you think we're gonna get another wave of new signups and converts to the series? i wonder what the new user -> civ 5 buyer rate is.
Fair nuff. I've stalked these forums since BtS so I know what we're in for. Had the same thing watching, say Victoria 2, or even MW2 in that the game itself has very clever ideas and the 'engine' behind it is fine, but the tweakable stuff is just plain wrong (ICS, tech tree beelines etc). Loved the gameplay but so dissappointed with the trimmings so far.I have Civ 5. Its pretty good. Nothing amazing, but a couple expansions will yield a brilliant game. Facebook is simply a very fancy blog with extensive business-networking capabilities. It's ingenious. If any of you had ever had to socialize with another person to get a better job (or just plain get a job), then you know it can be extremely powerful. If any of you had more than 9 RL friends who were in any way better than you, you'd know how important networking and teamwork is to getting ahead in this world.
Just because you have no idea how to use it properly is no reason to diss on it.
darn it i ddn't get the email and they said they allready chosed

No e-mail for me either. Where does it say they already chose, though?
