Puny Carthage is a vassal of the mighty Aztecs. We also are offering vassalage to the once mighty nation of Persia.
Sorry, that one is mine. You can't assist in Persia's defense in time to prevent their elimination, and it would only result in a useless long-distance war between us.

I...errrrr...messed up and need to rebuy civ 4 normal version (stupid cd is broken so can't use that) and reinstall it before I can warlords again (damn friends don't have it)...hopefully this will be tommorow but might not be able to play a couple of turns....

I can live with inflicting some war weariness on Azza for no penalty on my side. *shrug*
Future potential vassals of Azza should take note here that he can't necessarily defend you adequately from hostile neighbors, before you make your decision.

Done. The uploader disconnects seem to happen to multiple pitboss games in the same timeframe, I restarted the uploader in two other pitboss games yesterday.
And speaking of Azza & co., that's quite a tech lead he has going. Way over on the other side of the pancake, I'm thinking that it really deserves a proper dogpile.
