I'd think it's all countries he's visited but i'd seem weird there's the USmissing then :/
Hmmmm.... Algeria, Australia, Canada, Georgia, Japan, Montenegro, Morocco, New Zealand, Rwanda, Serbia, South Korea, Thailand, Tunisia and Uruguay.

I mean montenegro is clearly the weirdest in this list. it's the least representable civ i think we could get.I'm pretty sure he's been to the Netherlands and the UK.
The list including Serbia, Rwanda, Tunisia, and Uruguay seems odd for a travel list. Odd for a civ list too. World/Natural Wonder locations?
tunisia and rwanda are fairly popular travel lists nowadays. Tunisia bcs of the historical ruins, Rwanda bcs gorillasI'm pretty sure he's been to the Netherlands and the UK.

I mean the kingdom of Numidia went into modern day Tunisia as well.Tunisia is already kinda in civ bcs of a carthage oriented phonecia (i say that really loosely).
It's the "safe list" the EU just let out for countries that can travel there. Nothing else...
nah, Assyria doesn’t have to be warmongering.Unit-wise, the most notable aspects of Assyrian Warfare are its use of Chariots and Siege Towers. Between the Maryannu and the War-Cart, Ancient Chariot-based UUs seem pretty maxed out. It would be slightly disappointing for Assyria to be a rehash of Civ5's version, but a (good, mind-you) siege UU would be playing to a much more open space in the game. Ottomans get a bonus to siege warfare generally, of course, but the Domrey is the only UU in that class so far (whereas for Recon class we have three - the Okitcitaw, the Warak'aq, and the Highlander.)
Not that the game needs another ancient warmogering civ, but if Assyria is included that will absolutely be a part of the package, and they're getting a UU no matter what, and it will be from the ancient era. I think it's going to be the Siege Tower (though another interesting, probably not great, way for them to go would be with an ancient unique support unit that doesn't replace anything, buildable only by Assyria, reflective of their superior logistics of the age. But the ancient era build order is so crowded already that I can't yet see a way to really make that work.)
Disagree. Assyria's cavalry was far more noteworthy than their chariots; if you want an Ancient era civ with a unique heavy chariot, the Hittites are your civ.Unit-wise, the most notable aspects of Assyrian Warfare are its use of Chariots and Siege Towers.
love the hittites. My guy Mutuwalli II really got those cart chariot vibesDisagree. Assyria's cavalry was far more noteworthy than their chariots; if you want an Ancient era civ with a unique heavy chariot, the Hittites are your civ.

UU: Siege Engine- Catapult replacement at Masonry. Has stronger melee strength instead of range and deals damage to both city and walls.also, the siege tower is already a base game unit. If they got a uu, it would probably the siege engine, or siege cart, which would replace the battering ram.
these are the countries the EU is opening it's borders to in a couple of days, what is he saying by that? next pack is the european one after ethiopia?https://twitter.com/EdBeach23/status/1277989647168217089?s=19
Ed Beach lists some countries, unknown context.

Ok let me do a mock up, as I enjoy doing. I’ll do one for Ashurbanipal, as well as one for Tiglath-Pileser.UU: Siege Engine- Catapult replacement at Masonry. Has stronger melee strength instead of range and deals damage to both city and walls.
I also thought maybe Assyria could unlock Military Engineers earlier and maybe not need an armory to build them.
