The only thread on CFC that's brave enough to ask the eternal question "How do you like your coffee"?

I'm a cup a day folgers drinker, and I prefer my coffee Strong. What about you guys?

Dark, sweet and hot. Like my wimminz :D

Tully's Sumatra, strong, with heavy whipping cream. 3 cups a day.

Depends on which way the wind is blowing.

Northerly winds are black, black with sugar for Eastern winds, a dash of cream (not half and half, preferably) for Southern winds , or sugar and a dash of cream for the Western winds.

Millstone Foglifter FTW.

Using only the finest high-grown Arabica beans, this artful blend of light and dark roasts is characterized by its bright, spicy aroma. It offers the most complex coffee flavor experience...delicate flavor notes orchestrated with a rich, full body.

For awhile I was without Millstone Foglifter and I was buying Biff's Coffee at the local grocery store. I tried to convince myself it was almost as good, but really it wasn't. Now I have Millstone again and I am happy. :)

I have a pot at home before going to work, and brew more at work. I figure I usually have between 1.5-2 pots / day. Black, no sugar. I would say just like my sweet baby Condi, but she's sweet :)

I use that from time to time, it does taste rather good, but i'm not too particular about my coffee, as long as it's strong and got a good coffee taste I'm a happy fellow. :)

You sound a lot like my Mom, she likes French Vanilla flavored coffee.

I like mine sweet (more precisely what people would find very sweet) with milk/cream. I probably go through 3+ cups a day, which probably ain't so great for my bladder.

Instant coffee with moderate amount of sugar and some French vanilla creamer. I used to drink it basically black but with a little sugar.

I'm a big fan of Barnie's coffee, but I do substitute Trader Joe's (any kind) and Starbucks (Kenyan). I take it black and it has to be hot. Once in a great while I do add a bit of French Vanilla syrup. :coffee:

As a side note: The Starbucks Thanksgiving Blend is slightly disgusting. It has a turkey stuffing smell to it. It doesn't TASTE like turkey, but the smell is rather unappetizing.

An espresso man here. Cappuccino actually, made with whole milk to offset the sour taste a bit. I'm not quite sure if the sour espresso is due to the beans I'm using (local roaster), or if my machine isn't running hot enough.

I buy what many call "frou frou" coffee (shade grown, organic, free trade yadda yadda). I have a pint mug that I fill up usually once or twice a day. I drink all preparations, from the blackest and most acrid to the sweetest and creamiest.

I don't hassle with big electric coffee machines. All I need is hot water, paper filters and one of these:

Does coffee liquer count? I'm quite fond of Kahlua.

Dawgphood, that pour-over is pretty nice.

I've been thinking about getting a french press myself, but the one I have now is going to my mother as a Christmas gift. A vacuum pot would be awesome, too.
