Crusader Kings 2

Care to elaborate? I'm interested in why it sucks.

I am frankly interested on the subject, civ_king?

There was a huge variety of reactions to it depending on time, place and age of parties involved. What are you looking for?

Something general that can fit into gameplay.

I think that's probably the main problem with a lot of stuff in the game, the balance between gameplay, flavor, historical accuracy, and whether they have enough time to do research and whether it's worth it. I guess in the case of the "homosexual" trait they simply felt it was not worth it to spend a lot of research time on that when it was better spent elsewhere.

Because there will always be some historical inaccuracy with this stuff, I think a better question would, in the context of the game, not necessarily be how exactly homosexuality was viewed in the medieval era and how can we represent that 100% accurately down to the last minute detail, but rather, how would you - as someone who knows a good amount on the subject - portray homosexuality in the game in a way that is both historically accurate/authentic and fun from a gameplay perspective (and is also relatively doable coding-wise)? I'm not trying to harp on you, but it would be interesting to see how you'd do it.

They know because your son come back from service in the Varangian Guard talking to everyone about Greek Love. The dolt.

Halfdan Haraldson was not happy that day.

So I got a free CK2 from Gamersgate together with my EU4 preorder.
It appears there are currently 28 DLCs for the game, with a total price of €93.
Without Sunset Invasion or the music pacs, it is still 19 of them and €73.

Egads!

If you're not fussed with cosmetics, just get the big ones: Sword of Islam, Legacy of Rome, The Republic, The Old Gods (and optionally, Ruler Designer). That's a more manageable list. :)

Yeah 4/5th of the DLC are useless for gameplay. Just get the important stuff.
I recently bought the complete edition when it was on sale, but honestly could have lived with vanilla + the old gods.

Personally, I'd have preferred the linked units, faces & music packs sold as one DLC each, but if Paradox sold the associated DLCs with the actual expansion DLCs, then people would complain about higher prices and useless cruft in the big DLCs.

This is why you only buy DLC when it's on sale.

I like it the way it is - I'm not really interested in units or music, but I've got all the facepacks

Nah, I just use my blue coins for them :p

I use my blue coins for them too. I love GG's loyalty efforts in that regard.

I read somewhere once that the trait represented other lords knowing if someone was gay.
