Cybrxkhan's Leaderhead Thread

^If I understand you correctly, then the answer is no. I just generally followed what you said in the tutorial - remove the original outfit, stuff a new one in.

Also, thanks for the tip - I'll keep that in mind, too, along with all the good advice I'm getting here. :) There's a small hole in the turban in the back, i.e. it's unnoticable, but it kind of bugged me when I'd see that gaping hole in the back of the turban every time I was fixing it in blender.

After more than a week of failed attempt after failed attempt at getting an adequate Leaderhead, I almost have one ready!

There's only one problem, however, in that the guy's eyebrows are lit up kind of weird, and I can't determine why; I've managed to figure out that it's not the eyes popping out, and probably not the textures, but that's about as far as I got.

Anybody know what's causing it? I'm thinking it may be the lighting, but I don't really know much about lighting so that's just a random guess for me.

It is difficult to tell from that angle, but it LOOKS LIKE those are teeth sticking out up there. If you posted a nif or something that would probably make it easier to diagnose.

With great power comes great responsibility Peter.

Peter?

Anyhow, I think I'm going to work on fixing up the beard a bit in the blender before posting the nif. It doesn't show in the attachment, but seems that the beard doesn't do too well with the animations.

Thanks for the help, as always, anyhow.

SECOND LEADERHEAD!

Download HERE, or click on the link opn the first post.

Took me long enough. :) I present Dhu Nuwas of Himyar!

Yes. :D

It's actually De Gaulle. There's a few reasons why it's hard to tell that it's him, but probably the biggest is that I used Sitting Bull's animation for him, so he doesn't have the same arrogant big-adams-apple look.

So... yeah. Glad that it's pretty unique. :) I learned a few things from this, and I hope to make an even slightly more complicated LH next time.

I've decided to post a preview of my upcoming LH, Merkurios, just for fun - and to see if they're any suggestions for him. I may change him drastically depending on how well the animations work with these clothes, but the general idea is the same. :D

I wasn't think this.

it takes 2 min and i think everyone can attest they make LHs look way better so its worth learning!

Shaders is the only reason I still make LHs. I think you made a big mistake that you didn't learn shaders from the beginning. It might give you problems shadering your current LHs. I know, it sounds scary, but it is not scary and difficult at all! It much better to learn how to make shaders first and make LHs, than to make LHs and then give yourself a headache by trying to add shaders- it is a process that takes some time. I hope the LHs you already made are alrady shader-compatible, cause if not- you will need to take them to Blender again with all the original parts you used too.
