tons more graphs that will convince you Messi and Ronaldo are dope.

It doesn't tell me much. Apart from Ronaldo's performing slightly better than Messi. (I think.)

Ah right. After reading a bit from the link, I'm beginning to get the idea.

I thought... well never mind what I thought. It doesn't make any sense now.

Wait, if there is 14M lbs overall and one third comes from three destroyed satellites that means each satellite weighted about 800-900 tons on average. Now, that is what i call a satellite!

EDIT: ummm, maybe the key word here is "catalogued"?

The euro crisis may have eased recently, but companies and countries in the common currency zone still aren't investing enough to fuel growth. The best solution, a Berlin economics institute argues, is to establish an EU-wide investment fund.
I started reading this article before looking at the graph properly and thought - yes Ireland is probably underinvesting by a lot - it is easier to cut/delay capital spending by government and business than to cut payroll or welfare spending.
Equally with the banks not lending no new houses are being built and there are supply problems in Dublin. People with debt are trying to pay it down rather than investing.

As things are easing projects will get back on track but we are several years behind.

Berlusconi holds all kinds of dubious records.

Wow, I had never actually thought about ATM fraud. How common is that?

It is a common news item in the Netherlands. Usually is said to involve Romanians and Bulgarians. If several hundreds of euro are withdrawn from my bank account for no apparent reason, I'll be sure to ask Tolni first!

Also, if suddenly all valuable metal objects in your neighbourhood suddenly disappear, if you're quick enough, maybe you'll get to them before they enter the scrapyard...

It was making the news here like five years back. Then banks equipped ATMs with few pieces of plastics that serves as security measurement that prevents installation of card-skimming device and noone heard about it anymore.

Around here, ATM fraud was famous before ATMs even got to our city. For this reason most people here are very reluctant to USE a card anywhere. The banks however forced the usage of cards recently - there are additional taxes if you DON'T use ATMs. There's a very uneasy atmosphere about this mostly because of ATM fraud but also because of this communist thing in our blood that makes everyone think - if the money is not in your hand then you don't have it.

ATM fraud

Well, yeah. It's a risk.

I can't remember the last time I used an ATM. Certainly not one located outside a building. I assume if you use one inside a branch with staff about it's relatively safe.

But I generally get any cash I need from reputable supermarkets' cash back facility. That way I get some groceries and they pay me to take them away! Of so I can fondly imagine.
