For the record this is what the romanian thing looks like aproximately:

It looks like vomit, tastes like vomit and the reason it sorta cures your hangover is because you vomit when you see or smell it.
I guess that's the kind of recipes you invent when you have nothing left to eat except inedible cow parts and whatever weeds grew on the side of the ditch. It's a really old traditional recipe.

I personally use the italian and the dutch cures.

China, Poland, and Iceland seem to have it right.

The best hangover cure is of course the old "hair of the dog".

It's also the silliest.

It's a bit like curing a broken leg by breaking the other one.

I stick to water for my hangover woes. It seems to do the best job, although shots of vodka seem to work every once in a while too.

"Isotonic" i.e. water with salt and sugar, preferably both sodium and potassium salt, is significantly better than water alone. You should try it, you can thank me later.

Also this stuff is suprisingly effective

There's a global defenition of poverty, which is living for less than one american dollar per day.

I really don't think that almost 18% of Americans live for less than one dollar per day.

===========================

Edit:

The graph explains what it defines as "poverty threshold":

50% of median equivalised disposable income in each country.

So it shows income inequality.

According to this, the disposable median income in the US is $40,000. So you're saying that poverty in the US is defined as anything below $20,000? And that 17% of the population have this income or lower?

Doesn't seem unreasonable to me.

It works out at $54 a day, if my arithmetic is correct.

But it is kind of just relative poverty, I guess.

Isotonic is relatively effective though...

The three I mentioned have tasty takes on that.

Anyway, electricity can be used to disperse smoke.

Well, that was exciting.

^Bale is 39?...

Man, he shouldn't have had all those put on-put off massive weight routines... I thought he was in his mid 40s or something.

(edit, looking at the picture release age, i suppose he is 41 now?)
