Well, we've long known that the most conservative voter is the most rural voter and the most liberal is the most urban. And the nation has been becoming more urban and less rural for a long time.

It also makes sense under the consideration that Europe and Asia are more "collectivistic" than the USA and much more densely populated. When people live close together they develop a more acute sense of the need for rules and systems for governing relations between people, because under such conditions people's interests are more likely to overlap.

What school district even remotely has the funding for nonsense like that? Here in NJ schools have extremely large budgets compared to the national average yet still cannot afford air conditioning.

You have it backwards; they don't have so much money to spare for nonsense after paying for essentials; they blew all their budget on nonsense and have no money left for essentials.

"Speaking Burmese" isn't a good one. There are a ton of countries that are (obviously) better at speaking their own language than any other country.
