Where did you check out the folder and did you rename it?

(The larger size is normal because it includes the source code and the art is unpacked.)

I've named the folder DoC SVN, put it in BtS/Mods folder.

Is that the problem?

Alright, that was the problem, the folder name! Shame be upon me...

PS: plz add K-Mod GW to DoC :P

K-Mod has been found to be more trouble than it is worth

Even the performance improvements?

I didn't do any accurate comparisons but the American autoplay time is roughly the same.

Most of the more effective tweaks made by karadoc are already implemented here (several instances of caching etc.).

Well that's a shame really, I barely can play past the Medieval age without the game crashing every other turn and I really looked forward to them. :/

Yeah, I also expected more from that, especially considering the amount of work that went into it.

Leoreth, you should update a new version with the changes that you made recently!!:yup::yup:
:please::please::please:
The mexico respawn, Inca tambos and etc.

Please put to download:please::please::please::please::please:

It is available, see the SVN version.

I know, but I have to wait 6 HOURS!:mad:
I want to download the paste, it's only 15 minutes:D

So can anyone put the paste to download?

They're roughly the same size.

If it takes you 6 hours to download the SVN version,
I guarantee it's not going to be any better for the released version.

I'm fairly sure the SVN version is bigger, since it includes the source code and doesn't have compressed art.

I'm sure that even under the best circumstances (in which I would immediately comply with your request and repackage and upload everything) it's probably going to take more than 6 hours until I notice your post and find the time to make it happen.

This includes exporting the whole SVN repository, removing unnecessary source code, repackaging the graphics files, repackaging BlueMarble so that it works again, packaging the whole folder into a RAR, and uploading everything to a hoster.

This whole process can be rather accurately described as quite the inconvenience.

The result is that you have to wait more than six hours for something and inconvenienced someone else in the process, when you just could have waited six hours in the first place.

Not to mention of course that I won't do such a thing because as the above shows, it's an absurd waste of time to provide you with something that is already available to you.

The SVN version is indeed bigger. It's about 2x times the size of the normal version. But I'm not sure if the checkout is also 2x bigger. Both the source files and the actual files are essentially the same files. I guess you download the source file, and TortoiseSVN automatically makes the "real" file out of that.

When the art is in a pak instead of seperate files, it ISN'T smaller. Or at least it wasn't when I moved the art from RFCE to an pak file the first time. The only difference is that it is in 1 big file, so the mod will load faster. But the size is roughly the same.

The DLL source code is roughly 100 MB so that's what's actually reduced. The RAR packaging makes up most of the size difference.

If BtS itself is compatible, yes. And I'm 99% sure that it is.

Obviously no pressure here, but do you have a rough estimate as to when you plan to update the downloadable mod? Or do you intend to start using SVN exclusively?

When I've run out of things to do. While the list of things I want to do is constantly changing of course ;)

To be more specific, not before the inclusion of Brazil and Argentina.
