I have sent those questions to all sorts of historians, posted it on many forums but I still never get an answer. When I pester people about it I usually get banned with the motivation we don't want to discuss those questions. The historians usually refuse to answer. When asked in person they usually either rant, walk away or say that it is proven in court, we must never ever look at the evidence again.

Apperently considering that there is a 10 000 dollar cash prize for answering the question about naming one person (any other evidence than a witness is accepted) Even though it has been advertised in newspappers, online and tens of thousands of letters have been sent to historians not a single answer has been given.

False assumption. The US is not the source of unbridled capitalism today, so why would this follow?
I didn't realize that with government spending reaching 45% of GDP the U.S. still represented unbridled capitalism. Almost half is a lot of bridling.
Good points on Mise's part; America still remains the most economically prosperous country in the world in both absolute terms and in per capita incomes (save for a few tax-lax microstates and petro-states.) Our government today is certainly doing bad things that jeopardize our future, but to put it so catastrophically is just ridiculous.
Our government today is doing a little of good things to undo the bad things that jeopardize our future. The further we move from Reagan-Bush, the better the US future will be.

In a globalized world powers will rise & fall together. When the US falls the rest of the world will also fall (except perhaps isolated pockets of self-sufficiency/resiliency). I can't see Australia (or England) fairing much better than the US. Perhaps Germany, with it's emphasis on green energy & Scandinavian countries with more socialist govt's will fare better. For sure thought the collapse of the American empire won't be like the collapse of the USSR. Russians are used to hardship & value self-sufficiency. I can't imagine American suburbianites doing very well in even a depression, let alone a collapse. Maybe it'd all look like Detroit but 10x worse. Who knows. I may not stick around to find out. There isn't much I'd miss about the United States, I can only think of a handful of things actually.
