Desktops IV

You realize Calvin is slack-jawed there because he's immersed in one of his spaceman spiff adventures, right? :)

Actually, that particular scene is a conversation about the frailty and puniness of humanity compared to the rest of the universe. He's talking, not staring slack-jawed at the sky.

Well I've had sweet beautiful Condi for almost a month now, but I think it's time to get her tongue off my screen.

I really need to dig out my old Calvin & Hobbies and Bloom County books and re-read them.

Calvin and Hobbes is a timeless treasure.

I still have my black background w/ Rainbow Dash outline at the moment, but gave serious consideration to this:

I'm currently using Turner's The Fighting Temeraire as my background, although that might soon change.

I might change it to one of the Deus Ex cityscapes like this.

I used that one for a week or two before my current one, would've used it longer if it meshed better with my rainmeter.

I say go with it!

Gave. Past tense. Nothing can top this image of Rainbow Dash.

I don't get it.

I don't change my desktop very often. I've had this one for probably over 2 years. How often do you guys change yours?

I don't get it.
In the third panel, the anti-Obama person is colored as though he were Homer Simpson, a noted cartoon idiot. That's pretty much all I can come up with; never mind that those aren't really views that Homer holds. It's not a very funny cartoon, except for the braless woman.

I've had mine for nearly a year. Don't change very often, either.

The desktop of my laptop hasn't changed since.... I dunno 4 years?
I haven't been bothered to change to the desktop from my PC since I bought it (about a month ago? two? :undecide:)

and the desktop at the office will not get changed since I don't plan to spend more than a few more weeks here.

change my laptop background e'ry month, as readers of the desktop thread here may know.

I like the variety, and another forum I visit there is always a monthly desktop thread (february desktops, march desktops, april, etc).

I also like it better than a rotating background image. If there's an image I want as my background, I'd rather wait for the next month than put it in a rotation. Gives me something to look forward to!

I generally change mine every couple of months or so, depending on when I see something so awesome as to replace whatever current scheme has gotten old and boring.

anyways as expected (march 1 soon!), I'm undecided as to whether to use one of these (and which one), or to rotate them both. Gets a good warm springy feeling.

The timing of my playlist to choose a particular song (shuffle and repeat on) just as I viewed this is impeccable.

Spoiler Major movie spoiler :
Kirk dies for real at the end.

I got goosebumps, to say the least.

yeah but first image I get more of the person. second pic probably better by all photographic/colour means (especially for starting spring colour), but I like the person. Hence first pic comparable.
