Do US anarchists want a failed state?

You don't understand the intent behind my reply?

Spoiler :
I understand it's an attempt, obviously, but there seems to be no clear reasoning or wit behind it.

So sanctimonious.

One has to love when a poster known for a number of sanctimonious posts himself sanctimoniously accuses another poster of being "sanctimonious." That is rich! I've just logged in today, and my day is already made. :P

You can say that Anarchism is the normale state of affairs between nations.

You can also say that for Aliens we are in a state of Anarchism because we lack a centralist Earth power able to force its will upon nations.

If you would like to see the UN as a stepping stone to a Central Earth government, the nations with Veto-Power are the greatest Anarchists

Harder to attack your neighbor when they're kinsmen to a large chunk of your own country.

Is it? We just come up with an artificial distinction, be it religious or based on political affiliation or skull measurements, which allows us to "other" and subsequently dehumanize, and then we're ready for war and genocide. See: Rwanda, Germany, etc. Hutu and Tutsi are mostly artificial ethnicities, not biological/DNA-based ones. Before the colonialists came, Hutu and Tutsi mostly boiled down to Hutus being small scale farmers and Tutsi being pastoralist. Unlike what some people claim, researchers believe that these attributions were fluid, hence that one could become Tutsi by owning cattle. The colonialists however interpreted the difference exclusively among ethnic lines, and put the focus on the phenotypic differences between the two groups: They constructed Tutsi as being descendants of the Nubians, as being noble and intelligent, civilized, basically. Those attributions slowly managed to take over the old understanding of the dichotomy, and all it needed was some political unrest for the genocide. Artificial differences can seperate kinsmen, no problem.

The appeal and the reason for it (material conditions) hasn't changed, only the perception of the end result due to authoritarian abuses. Which is half the reason why socialism is finally gaining some traction in the US and UK, USSR has never been alive in my lifetime. We are not taken in by Cold War propaganda and no living example of "communism evil!" exists. DPRK is hereditary despotism or something, China is state capitalist, Cuba is suffering from a half century of economic warfare that can be laid at the feet of the US, not from Cuba's own shortcomings however valid they may be. Venezuela is an oil-state with less communal ownership than Norway, famously capitalist country. Bolivia was poor but making incredible progress, now it's been couped and native groups are being massacred by theocratic thugs.

I love your posts lately. So unpretentious and always on point. Wish I could write more "natural" like that.
