Nah, I hate it too.

I use to have a moustache, my wife liked it. I kept it for about a year, and then shaved it off.

I don't grow facial hair very quickly. 24 hours later it's less than a 5 o'clock shadow. So I get by shaving every two or three days.

Lucky you.

I get the 5 oclock shadow ..... if I don't shave in my 2 days off I have to trim it before I shave.

I use an electric 3 circular blade razor ...... shaving manually rips off my skin and I used to have a 1 blade electric razor and it irritated like hell, this one is smoother. I need a smooth shave because I put after-shave.

I usually shave on Sundays (have to look good for church, that's where all the ladies are) and again on Wednesday. I will skip Wednesday if I am unemployed (and therefore not leaving the house) at the time.

I usually wear a few days stubble. I like it because I can't be arsed to shave everyday, and my girlfriend likes it because it makes me look a little older. After a few days though, I usually shave everything off, because then my face itches. I always shave before I travel, because with facial hair, I look middle eastern, and I get pulled out of line all the time.

I only had a beard once, when I went camping in Canada for two weeks. It looked kinda cool on me (at least I thought), but it was in the middle of summer, so I shaved it off

I have small tufts of hair at the corners of my mouth.

What are these called?

Fungus.

Anyway, I have to shave daily or I look like a Yeti. Sometimes I wear a moustache, but I cant wear a beard in the miltary...its against the rules. Would like to grow a full beard for awhile after I retire just to see what it looks like...then would probably trim it down to a Van Dyke (the wife thinks Van Dykes are sexy).

I get the start of a moustache and a beard only on those weekends when I'm not going anywhere and so skip shaving.

Otherwise my face is as smooth as a baby's bum. :smug: But it's man-made. Curse the need for corporate image!

If needed I can grow both, just let them be for a week or so.

My dad has had his beard for about 31 years straight so far. So there must be something appealing about it.

Of course, then again, I saw a picture of him without a beard, and to be honest he doesn't look that great.

A lot of both. Shaving is so boring. :(
I shave once every 2 weeks, and by then i grow a large neck beard and a moustache.

If i shave in the morning, i get a 5 o'clock shadow before 5 o'clock.
Really, imediatly after i shave, looking closely at what's left i can see these huge black dots everywhere ... my beard hair is just too thick.

Gone from a Kaiser Bill and reasonable winter beard to a Fuhrer and a couple of weeks of trimmed growth.

I don't get either yet, although I will have to shave soon (maybe a few months, maybe more) because of a moustache I am beginning to get. Frankly I am not looking foraward to shaving days, I don't want a beard or anything.

You also need one if you want to be evil

My goatee is very similar to Spock's.

I got myself a red goatee (sp?), which throws some people off, since the hair on my scalp is blond. And yup, it just grows like that....

I had a beard and moustache for 12 years but I shaved it off last summer. Now I shave...sporadically; sometimes every day for a week, sometimes leave it for a couple of weeks (but then it's a pain to shave).

Moustache only. I could probably sprout a decent beard in a week, my five-o'clock shadow shows up by midafternoon. :(

Those little pics of Stalin, the Vulcan and the other bloke are nothing in terms of evil.

Now, Fu Manchu, he had classy evil facial hair.

Aiiee! I understand that very well. I shaved off mine when i understand that it was detrimental to my career, during the interviews. Not to worry, now i have a job, im growing it back! Of course now i have the reputation of a wierd degenerate reprobate.
