I think we repealed that when we time travelled into the past to stop CivGeneral's past self from giving up in DYOS (after receiving the book of DYOS X.V from the future) and cause a whole new parallel timeline where I've conquered most of the galaxy (except Earth).

Okay then. But remember not to overuse time travel. Because that never ends well. Look at Star Trek: Enterprise.

Note that it works for Doctor Who because the writers don't care about the canon and time travel isn't really used for anything other than to get the Doctor and friends to the planet of the week. And I don't think that DYOS is like that.
