Last update is on the previous page, the state of the world is noted in the statistics on the first page, which also note which nations are available (Nations marked 'NPC' are available, all other nations are run by other players).

I recommend talking to North King and saying exactly what sort of nation you want to try playing.

I don't believe they're completely accurate at the moment.
