Favorite Short Lived States

And there is more to Black. She's not a professional artist, she's a teenage girl whose mom is rich as balls, and paid massively to get her daughter's bathroom-practiced singing voice professionally recorded on a single.

Who everyone would have forgotten about if people weren't constantly name-dropping her :p

How this thread went from short lived states to a possible showdown Freddy vs Jason vs Rebecca Black is beyond me

The prague spring 1968 (not really a state but short lived).

I do love the Free State of Fiume. It almost reminds me of those absurd childhood dreams of overthrowing the principal and the teachers. Except better.
...It's kind of startling how apt that is.

D'Annunzio? Oh yeah, that's as apt a description of his philosophy as I've ever heard.

D'Annunzio was anything but anarcho-fascist. He pretty much invented all the rituals of fascism as was a strong proponent of the cult of the leader (i.e., himself).

The attempt to re-institute a Umayyad Emirate for the Moriscos, 1568-1571 in Al-Andalus, as my name probably implies.

Up there on the list would also be the Emirate of Diriyah and though it now has lasted a hundred years (and looks to continue lasting), I have to honourably mention the Republic of China.

All the great socialists were Bros. Leon Brotsky, Brosa Luxemburg, Brosef Stalin, James Bronolloy, Amadeo Brodiga... Need I go on?
