I think it's called Resource because it can handle articles and tutorials also. :)

A recent change has made the mobile version hard to use on the phone. A background image has been added that causes the screen veer right if swipe a little to the side. Is annoying while trying to scroll. The image is of mostly explored fog of war.

It might be caused by the wide and thin banner ads appearing at the top and/or bottom of the page. But it might be a symptom of the container holding the page being too wide or the image size bring too large.

Thunderfall... I just found the Link to Upload in the Database... far top Right Corner... I uploaded the "test Delivery Wagon" and the Image. I did not see anything listed after the Upload.
Then I would say the system expects you to set the resource icon manually. It expects an icon that's 96x96 pixels.

I had to manually add icons to all my download pages. It'll resize larger images for you though.

There's now the option to view CivFanatics ad-free without the need to use ad-blockers. Not just that, but you could also get a "Supporter" banner and the ability to upload a larger avatar (file-size-wise not dimension-wise).

I'm not going to use that for the moment, but how does that work?

What is this thing going on about a virus coming from a flash player install? It's circulating among some CFCers. :/

Can you, or someone else, provide more information? Such as which devices or operating systems are affected and the symptoms of the infection? Thanks.

Thunderfall... All of the images I uploaded in the past were 100 x 100 pixels as was indicated for the database images.
Was thinking they would all be transferred over.
Does this this mean that we will have to remake all of our past uploaded images for the database?

This is a copy-and-paste of the relevant information. It's from an email I received from one of my PBEM buddies.

subject: Civfanatics has a virus please forward this to the others PLEASE!
I have very few email addresses since my restore, Please pass this on to the others. This new site asks if you want to update your flash player. If it is making hat suggestion you already have it. It costed my $88 this time because I don’t have a restore disk and this virus locked me out of every possible option to get rid of it. Very nasty!
For the record, this person had to have their computer repaired a week or two ago.

Hope it helps.

Whoever is doing this, should stop doing it, it's basically spam.
He should rather provide the admins with the information when/where this add appeared, so that they can investigate how it got there and how to get rid of it.

And you should only ever update the flash player from the official adobe website, everything else is malware.

Some often-used smileys are still missing.

Question (sorry if it's been asked before; I haven't seen it): How much PM storage do we get now?

I don't think there is PM space limit anymore. :)

For smilies, I will target before Civ6 release date for them all to come back.

Right, if you want the resource icon, you should go ahead and add them.
