This is possibly where the "zoom zoom" idea came from. Zoom zoom is an old meme but this image is new and fairly popular

I recall Kevin being into baby yoda.

On a different note, this tweet by Kevin has got me really stressed. Did anybody point it out already?

They removed the posters! PANIC! Too much depended on those posters!

This means that even if we get a third expansion, there will be no perfectly aligned background with four posters during livestreams!

This franchise is now dead to me.

perhaps we wont see a third expansion for civ 6. But the PR team might still find a good enough reason to create another poster for us :) A zoomzoom baby joda meme poster should be ok.

Unless the banners are now hanging in Kevin's basement, it's kind of moot at this point. Any livestreams during social isolation will look like your average Twitch livestream.

Yea, but they could at least replace the posters with something meaningful. Like, you know, rolls of toilet paper

it would have been a good april 1 joke. I would say Wilhelmina may send toiletpaper as a gift instead of tulips or frikandellen. (It is time to get back to work modders. Civilization 6 toilet paper edition)

There will be plenty in the offices, and their stock isn't running out anytime soon.

As much as people like to joke about the toilet paper thing, it actually makes for a pretty interesting situation that I have adapted for my accounting classes. See the initial panic buys notwithstanding, the toilet paper industry is facing a very large problem, no one is pooping at work anymore. It is a bit of a silly premise, but the way the industry has evolved over the years is about 60% of the production is focused on commercial clients. So even if there was a full supply, current demand outpaces current production capacity. And even though toilet paper is a fairly simple product, it isn't like the machines have simply commercial vs consumer settings like some paper producing Keruig. In fact the paper is so different from its production to its shipping that these products aren't typically even done in the same manufacturing plant. So the decisions get interesting (i.e. tough), do you retool your other plants to meet demand? Do you stay pat and hold out? Do you try to tax your current infrastructure to the max? So even if it is typically played for the joke of extreme consumer irrationality, there are some real underlying issues to the problem that make for very interesting capacity questions!

Maybe they're setting it up for a reveal? Like a video where they walk past the 3 first banners then back to the livestream room where there's 4 new banners for the 4 mystery DLC.

That just pops into my mind as something a hype-obsessed game dev would do in these trying times.

Nice observation :) As an analyst by profession I appreciate this :)

They could use zoom and everyone has different banners for their background :P

The best way to speed up more content is to start to play another game. I’m sure they track how many people play Civ VI and for how long. When the numbers start dropping, Firaxis will be more keen to keep the franchise exciting with new content. Currently playing EU and Panzer Corps 2 and can’t wait for Humankind!

I don't really think lower player numbers suddenly cause bugs to find their own solutions and fix themselves and code assemble itself out of nothing and design design itself autonomously.

Plot twist the livestream room is actually Kevin's basement.
Please, someone let Kevin out, poor thing. He needs his daily walk. :(

So, I've been away for a while. What did I miss? Is something new suspected to be coming? When they released the Platinum Edition I assumed they were done.

There are 4 DLC apps sitting in the chuck. They have codenames Runner, Plaid, Zoomzoom, and SoonTM.
