there is nothing stopping me from switching back. (Apart from the sharks killing me right after)

My actual victory alignment does not change from survival.
It just means the Sharks protect me from the dirty cops and other mafia.

So I am no more or less a threat to any people like me.

Well sprig is correct, since the major goal of this game is to survive. If you read your PM, there is no alignment in this game, so you are free to choose which side you want to be on.

Welcome back to fine and sunny day. I hope you are enjoying the time you have this day. It looks like we are finally going to see the demise of the Vipers and it will be a great day for the city of New Townsville that we are finally getting on top of the gang problem that has been plaguing our town. There is a lot of heat on the leader of this organisation, so we might finally see that they are no more.
