When/how was it known that he was a shopkeeper before he claimed it?

I was never sure where all this information came from, but it was part of what I got from Duke Blackstone that named all the cops, some of the shopkeepers and the entire Viper team. IIRC, Sprig was not on the list of confirmed shopkeepers, but DB had reason to believe he was one; before Sprig claimed as such.

I don't know who to vote for. I have no alternative option, and it's too late to actually think about it. I guess I'd direct anyone else with access to that list to look at who wasn't on it for clues.

Welcome back to the Matt Brown show. We start off with some big news of the arrest of a person named Sprig. The police arrested this man awhile ago and things were doing great. But for more we go live to Patricia Twain at the Police station. Are you there Patricia?
PT:Yes I am here and we are updating the situation as it goes live. I have just come back from a news conference by the police about the arrest of Sprig. We d have some troubling news that this guy was able to get off the charges without any trouble. They said they could not find any evidence on him so they had to let him go. Disappointing news. Back to you Matt.

Welcome back to the James Goodall hour and what a complete surprise that yet again we see police corruption is not being able to get yet another criminal to justice. Why are you people so blind to the truth that they are all corrupt and we are in a hopeless situation? But before I rant on any further we must deliver the news and it is horrific news, even if they are corrupt, they should not be killed like this, but we have found that Detective Morgan was found killed after a car bomb exploded in her police car. The police are still searching for the possible suspect, but this extremely disturbing news about this incident involving the police and crime gangs. I just don't think I can do the show due to this terrible news.
