BTW, this is some of what I received from Sprig.

Sent to earlier, which your lack of response has irks that sharks.

The way I see it is, you could get protection from them like me and win when they win or you could not and die.

Quite a simply choice I would have thought.

It is unfortunate that I bring this message but I have no choice otherwise I might suffer the same fate.

As you can see, viper protection only goes so far. There are others that could protect you better from these type of accidents. The sharks would like to offer our experience and expertise to help you through these dark times for a small fee.

There was a fellow (woman) called daveshack, who did not did not see the advantage of aligning himself with the sharks. It was such a shame what happened to her the next day.

Points of note:
If you wish to align yourself with the sharks you can send a pm to Classical saying as much.
If you don’t, you should be aware that we can reach you during the day so the curfew offers you no protection.

Obviously the sharks are the best placed team with both the cops and Rival Mafia team exposed. Since shopkeepers like yourself and Sprig win when the team protecting them wins, it makes sense to align yourself with the side that has a better chance of Winning.

So if you do not want protection, please make sure that your rejection is public, otherwise they might think i didn't pass on the message.

No, you need to answer those two questions.

The initial PM explains nothing about who the sharks actually are (as a group, and who the members of this group are), and it doesn't explain how you are in contact with them.

As a person who was under the so called protection of the vipers, you should quite well know.

You also have no need to know who the members of the Sharks are. Just remember the sting of their bats.

I have no idea how it works. I was under the Viper protection from the start of the game, so don't know how the mechanic actually works, other than that it exists.

I take it from the last line that you do know who the Sharks are?

I know only one member. Also the other shopkeepers who are paying the sharks.
The Sharks are very much interested in you because they belive that you know who the other shopkeepers are.

All you have to do it PM Classical and tell him that you are aligning/paying the sharks.

As classical mentions in thread, shopkeepers wins if the team they are aligned to wins.

Regarding what I posted in the thread about Skwink Caesar. Does his story hold up? Did you contact him privately and provide him with this role PM (or something else to make his claim of believing your innocence plausible)?

I am looking... He's not Viper or Police.. And I gave him my actual roll PM. The Sharks have no reason to harm me, and I just took the Vipers down.

I don't like the votes on inactive players at this point. We got a shark two days ago, and Sprig is very likely to be another. There's clues lying around, to figure who else is a sharks, but many of you chose instead to vote inactive players. :shrug:

I think we'll find Sharks in that last list (excluding Camikaze and Naruto). I might be biased but I'm gonna vote Snerk because he voted for me on D6 and I'm a known cop, but yesterday he's been voting Sonereal, another bad vote (lurker - easy vote, and he's also cop informant)

His two votes on Khazaar D4/D5 are also similar to civplayah. I wouldn't be surprised if he voted him because he knew that he was lynch immune. Good way to get innocent credentials while making sure your team isn't penalized.
