Good to hear from you again, I love discussing trade deals and war. Now concerning the deal for Construction. We are now 9 turns away from discovering how to build large buildings, such as Walls and Aquaducts. Please offer something concrete in your next message, whether it be gold or technologies. We believe this deal will greatly benefit both our nations.

Also, we would like to thank you for the news on the Donuts. It is good to know what they are up to on their side of the continent. We don't have much news to offer, except we are gathering our forces to prepare for a huge attack on the Donut core. Our "Stack of Doom" will hopefully end this war for us.

Think thats a fairly good deal, before trading it to them though we might want to see if we can trade it to everyone else as well, also how about a clause stating not to trade it to the d'nuts?

Dear MIA,

We are glad to hear you would be willing to teach us of the many gods in exchange for the secrets of Construction. However, before we finalize the deal, we have but one condition. We kindly ask of you to not trade these secrets to the Galls. This tech trading program would be between our two nations only. If you would accept this one condition, we will gladly sign any document for the trade.

Also, we would like to discuss more long range trades in the tech trading program. What technologies would be of use to your people? What would you be willing to trade for them? Together we could keep technologies out of the hands of KISS and the Doughnuts, and keep our nations atop the technology scoreboard...

Lastly, could you please for now on send any future diplomatic correspondence to me, along with our Grand Vizier donsig. By sending it to both of us, you ensure a quicker reply, and I have not received the last few messages. This would be greatly appreciated.

lurker's comment: I don't think team MIA will understand "galls". In fact; I don't even understand who you mean by that.
To prevent misunderstandings; I advise you to use the official names in official treaties. "Team Doughnut, Team TNT, Team MIA & Team KISS".

You've got it RengentMan. I'm really not sure how we came up with Galls. I know I used it for a long time without realizing they're the Celts. Mixed up Celts and Gauls in my mind and Gauls got corrupted to Galls. Provolution may have started the whole Gall thing back when the Spirit of the Game was being debated. Now I'm not so sure we should let KISS know we refer to them as Galls, but what the hey? BTW, with greekguy on our team we couldn't call MIA anything but Greek.

As for the propsed message I think we should ask them not to trade construction to the Galls or Iroqi and we should also tell them that we promise to do the same. In the second paragraph I'd add the words *in general* somewhere. The current wording might lead them to think we're asking for specific long term deals right now. I doubt their team would give us an answer if they thought we were looking for specifics.

Finally, I think they've been sending their correspondance to our team's Gmail address. Any team member can check that email. I encourage team members to do so for that's where the save is sent. If the war goes badly we may need a new turn player so the more team members familiar with the process the better.

Just so you know, I'm not thinking of bailing out if the war turns against us. Just thinking that if worse comes to worse and we have to sue for peace I think we'll get a better deal if we have a *revolution* and depose that crazy Vizeer and have someone else play the turns. That would help convince the nuts that we've turned over a new leaf.

I agree with donsig on adding "in general" to the second paragraph. We should also mention that we want both polytheism and literature as they suggested originally. Right now it seems like we're refusing to accept that they add literature to the deal

We will have construction in two turns. Yes, I think we should accept the deal as on their scroll of parchment.

I'm not sure what to say about the war. Take a look at the *who do you think will win* poll and see some of the things being said about the war. I see nothing wrong with saying we had a setback and the war is stagnating. That may be enough. You know, maybe we should tell them that we are average comapered to KISS, weak comnpared to Nuts and strong compared to them - and ask how they compare to the Nuts and KISS.

Maybe something like "the gods of the nuts have prevaled, for a time"? That way we wouldn't seem to be doing as bad as saying that we are weak compared to the nuts, while still telling them that we are not doing well.
