Numbers of cars in a household?

Olympic medalists?

Origin of players in the superbowl?

I do not really have time to make a map ATM, so I will leave it to others to guess american sport competitions.

NBA

Giannis is busy ruining his career by staying at the Bucks.

Yes, origin of players active in the NBA, blue is had at least one active player in the past, but not anymore.

It's a bit unfair since there's obviously a correlation with population, see the dark red American states which just correspond to Los Angeles, Chicago, New York and Texsas I think. North Carolina being the outliner there. And you can make a lot of jokes about the whiteness of Vermont, but in the end, it's just a low population state. The population correlation doesn't work as well outside the US, since Basketball isn't as popular everywhere else

@Kyriakos, you up

I suppose I shall volunteer:

Is there any order?

So grey is the standard and all the other colours are deviations?

First I thought something about politics (i.e. constitution) or about natural resources, but then there just seems to be too much grey. Can you confirm that grey isn't simply "no data"?

Am I (colour)blind? It looks like only greenland and western sahara are grey, most places are green to me.

I am thinking something to do with how much conflict / certainty there is about if they are a country.

There is no order amongst the colours.

Each colour, including grey, represents a category.

I believe that white (e.g. Greenland and Western Sahara) represents no data.

I admit that the (dark) grey and green are very similar and likely indistinguishable on many small devices.

I am thinking something to do with how much conflict / certainty there is about if they are a country.

That is indeed relevant to two of the colour categories.

^ Libya looks very peaceful

Remember the date.

Yeah, I wasn't talking about the white / light grey Greenland and Western Sahara, but the first category which is also the biggest. The dark grey one.
