Have Energy Prices Changed for you?

No. O&G exporter in a region with limited export capacity, and locked into a 5-year fixed-rate contract 11 months ago for both gas and electricity.

I guess my propane tank fills are more expensive, but it’s still under $20 for a 20 lb tank, which is good for quite a bit of grilling.

Edit: Gasoline a bit more expensive than it’s been over the past several years, but adjusted for inflation (not to mention my earnings) it’s cheaper than it was when I started driving nearly two decades ago, and I don’t drive much / drive a very fuel-efficient car.

No. I drive very little and only fill up about every 5-6 weeks.

Funnily I was meaning Gas/Electricity prices for the home.. but petrol/diesel too I suppose!

I don’t think so. My gas and electric bills change month to month because during the summer I’m running the air conditioner and during the winter the gas heater. Compared to last year, they’re about the same.

Not that I've noticed. Most of NZs power is hydro and I think we're more or less self sufficient for gas.

Abundant rain in winter so afaik the hydro lakes are near capacity.

Maybe petrol idk.

Petrol in the UK is back "down", but still massively over what it was a year or two ago.

Energy bills for this month haven't come in yet. Have only just submitted the whole "let's see how much we're going to charge you" reading.

Wholesale electricity prices have gone up a lot this year because of coal and gas prices going nuts due to the war and other related factors.

The pass through to consumers hasn't been even, in the Australian Capital Territory we actually saw a slight decline in electricity prices due to the 100% renewable electricity supply contracts shielding us from the fossil fuel boosted wholesale price. Elsewhere, some people are seeing prices like double.

Gas prices have gone up, but I don't use gas.

I'm on an economy seven electricity tariff and by daytime rates have gone up by about 20%, but my nighttime rates have almost halved. Overall it's a small increase, but I'm not quite sure why it's been done this way....

Fuel not that much, maybe 20% or 30%, electricity a lot, almost 100%. Not a problem by itself, however much more expensive electricity leads to higher prices in general, so it is noticeable, specially for poor people.

I don't drive and use very little energy at home. So I don't feel it much. Otherwise tho, prices have gone up.

Electricity is effed but gasoline still ok. Govt. pays some of the el bill. I'm lucky enough to overcome the increase though.

Not that much. Electricity prices aren't that bad in my neck of the woods (hahahah @thetrooper you poor southerners!). Petrol prices has been kinda crazy but I don't drive that much.

In June, my electricity bill was €92. Now in September, it's €202.

Yes, which is frustrating, because I live in a country which is energy and gas self-sufficient, but the larger country next door isn't, and we are expected to shoulder part of that cost. This may be easier to stomach if we were not so frequently instructed that we feckless small-country-people are subsidised by the benevolent large-country-people and couldn't possibly survive without them.

Tax energy profits, redistribute to own country.
