History (aka Steph's mod 3)

An important note: my leader have no name (I'm using Civinator idea to call theme "ruler of X"). So the important point is they look from the civilization. The exact name is not very important.

Britain: Perhaps Richard I, but I don't like the graphics. William the conqueror may be better. Or perhaps Brian Boru?
France: What about keeping Brennus? Ancient, or Medieval?A
Germany: I was thinking about Barbarossa. He really has a great beard though.
Hellas: link please?
Iberia: where's Viratio?
Italy: I may also simply keep Cesar (ancient)
Russia: I'm using Alexander Nevsky
Scandinavia: I could keep Ragnar, medieval
Arabia: I could keep Abu Bakr.
Africa: Shaka is probably good enough, but I don't like him in "Renaissance", so I'll use the ancient Shaka then.
China: I'm using Qin
Maghreb: I'll keep Hannibal

Just started testing. I have played to Jan., 1930 BC and have explored quite a lot. Actually, I have explored all of my island! There's exactly 176 or 177 land tiles on that island. Now when do I get boats capable of carrying settlers....?

Loving the update!
A few things, though:
It's a bit weird when you have 'King' for a female leader
Should Carthaginian Pikeman upgrade to Almoravid Spearman?
It says that Seafaring civs start with Sea Fishing-but this is in the Late Bronze Age.
You only have Civ Specific Wonders for a few civs.
Should the Mg_01N Boat be able to upgrade to the Mg_02N Galley?
Also, you might want to consider more female LHs. It's always good to try and keep a balance.

Other than that, this is working great!:goodjob:

I noticed those too. I play also as Carthaginians (or whatever they are IG). I also noticed that Mg_02N Galley has the same problem as MG_01N Boat. In civilopedia, there's no link where they would upgrade.

It says that Seafaring civs start with Sea Fishing-but this is in the Late Bronze Age.

As I play with "Carthaginians" I'm Seafaring, but I still needed to research Sea Fishing.

Other than that, this is working great!:goodjob:

I totally agree with this!!

I also found this error:

Load Error
FILE NOT FOUND
"art\units\_Euro Scout\pedia\SMALL.pcx"

Where is it and is it spelled right?

And as this error occurred, I lost my game and needed to start over. I'm Chinese now.

Britain: Perhaps Richard I, but I don't like the graphics. William the conqueror may be better. Or perhaps Brian Boru?OK
France: What about keeping Brennus? Ancient, or Medieval?AYou could use Charlimagne
Germany: I was thinking about Barbarossa. He really has a great beard though.OK
Hellas: link please? You can keep Alex or use Pericles
Iberia: where's Viratio?I don't know
Italy: I may also simply keep Cesar (ancient)OK

China: I'm using QinOK
Maghreb: I'll keep Hannibal
OK

These are my ideas in bold.

Small glitches, I'll correct them during the week.

For leaderhead, as I said I'm not very happy with what I have so far, and it will be upgraded. But don't expect too many females!

About wonders: there are only a few civ specific one. For this updated, I changed the improvments, not the wonder. This will be for a further update.

No civ start with nay bonus tech, except a "china" or "france" tech used for some civ specific techs.

I have plan to include other things, such as religion, so I keep slots opened for the moment.

The Euro scout should be in the "Support" folder. It should be there if you installed the first update (2009_04_19)

I have checked the settlers, they are now foot units. So they should be able to go on boats. If they can't, can you tell me what civ you are playing?

The Carthaginian pikeman upgrade to Swordsman... It may look strange, but it's because the Al-Andalus spearman (there are no Almoravid spearman) come later, and I want Carthage to "disappear" when the Almoravid appears

And, yes I forgot to set the upgrade path for the African, Maghrebin and Chinese nayv :(

You can see a screen from the BETA - 30% menpower of one of the 4 inside legions at Cannae...

A serious criticism is not appropriate for you probably? You should ask yourself times, why I am so friendly.

PS:You were weighed, you were measured and you were not found as well enough!

Yes I did. I started another game as Africa and I'm now writing a story based on it. I have written to the Jan. of 2150 BC.

EDIT: My story thread can be found from here.

A serious criticism is not appropriate for you probably?
Serious criticism would be for instance
3. Very bad tech tree, because... and you could to .... to improve it.

What you did is not criticism, it's negativism.

You don't like it, your right. I like it, I find it fun to play, others do as well.

Unless if you explain why you don't like and proposes ides for improvment, your feedback will be dismiss. For the moment, the weight of your comment is very close to null.

I'm not completly happy with the leaderheads, as I can't always find the perfect head for each period.

So I may go for flag leaderheads instead (and how I know how to make them :) ).

So, what do you think?

Would you prefer animated leader or static flags?

Leader and flags would both be era specific.
