Sex is fun and a recreational sport. It sure cost a lot of money though. Getting an oil change would prolong the life of a car. Getting plan B would prolong the fun of sex. We do not force companies to pay us for our car insurance much less our oil changes. Why should we force companies to pay for recreational sex? That companies do anything above and beyond a pay rate for the job done has always been called a bonus. Perhaps we have forgotten that fact. I realize that the cost of living has not kept up with the ability to keep rich people from getting richer. We would have to restructure the whole economy to solve that problem. But restricting companies to do things they would prefer not to is not the problem. It is a bonus and they really do not have to pay that, unless they want to keep people working for them. It is not taking away their livelihood, it is taking away their fun. If working causes women such health risk and issues, why do they work? I am not saying that it does, but that is what people are actually referring to if they think that a woman's work needs to cover plan B.
I am not saying that it is fair for rich people to take advantage of society. But even that is part of a free society where the government did not start out to control every aspect of human life. When you start using the government to clamp down on social injustice, I am not referring to certain human rights, but class structure, that in itself is going to drive a wider divide between those who have and those who do not. It will only be those who have the money who end up controlling such a government.
