How about pc? Maybe we can find things to redeem those for.

I voted Good.

I can't really dock them points, they have one hell of a job to do.

Average

Mainly based on my experience with the OT and other games moderators. I find that that they teater onto the more stricter zones.

Our mods are completely perfect in every way. :scared:

Upon further review, I am going to unofficially change my vote to average. While most are good, I don't want to say good, because, though it is slight, I believe more and more there is a general leftist slamt in the modding, as well as what Earthling said about the consistency being true, I'm going with Average.

If all you have is a hammer, the whole world looks like a nail Dom3K.

Nearly everyone is left of you ;)

While these boards - and, by extension, the moderators - tend to lean towards the left, you are much more on the right than most people in general. ;)

I know that. And I have no problem if they want their POSTING to be leftist, but moderating should be, and IMO isn't always, objective.

However, it is a reasonable portion of the time, enough that I wouldn't call them bad, somewhere between average and good.

I know that, but I also do consider myself a pretty far right-leaning conservative.

For instance, on abortion, I consider the MODERATE stance to be allowing it only if it wasn't their fault, like rape or when the mother's life is in danger. I, being a strong conservative, would never think of allowing even this.

With Welfare, the MODERATE position is to let everyone keep most of what he earns, but still give enough welfare so that you don't let anyone starve. I, being a strong conservative, want the government out entirely.

However, that isn't really important. See the bit I posted to Zack, that's the important part.

I thought conservatism was about keeping the status quo not having revolutionary crazy ideas.

Conservatism, to me, is doing things that are oppoositionary to all forms of Socialism. Technically, my opposition to abortion would come from Libertarianism, because the government has no right to allow murder.

We are really getting off topic though. PM me or start a thread if you wanna know what I'm talking about. This isn't the place.

PS: Do you call yourself a liberal?

Moderator Action: Please take the politics to OT, guys. You're supposed to be talking about the moderators here. Thanks.

Dude, that is a supremely bad position to take considering there is a vast range of actual social systems called Socialism. I'm not sure conservatism as you see it is coherent. Try reading some real conservatives like Oakeshott, instead of listening to garbage talk show hosts. Also, your conception of Libertarianism is highly suspect.

On topic, I'd say average if not poor, mainly because I seem to remember better and thus have expectations that are not met. I also think that CFC is a good example of there being no such thing as objective policing. The enforcement of rules inevitably imitates the sensibilities of the crowd. No matter how reasonable you might think something is and how well you might be able to argue for it, if the crowd thinks there's not much substance there, at least some of the enforcers will think the same. This has made me think again about CFC as a platform for serious discussion.
