How is your EU3 Game going?

Note that the screenshots shows that Iceland declared independence from the Papal State, not any Scandinavian country. Icelandic inclusion of Norweigan monarchs might have stopped with Italian conquest.

...it truly is interesting when you are fighting over the sucession to Brandenburg. Especially when both parties have land in Europe, Africa, NA, SA, and the Carribean. The war is me(Roman Empire sized Italy) and my numerous but small allies against Castile and Portugal :p

Change to the region mapmode. You need at least X provinces in that region (they don't have to be cores though).

Finished my Knights game! I brought the Knights Hospitaller from a one province organization to becoming the army of Lord Jesus Christ manifest, striking fear and terror in the hearts of all heathens! Reduced the Mamluks to a few African provinces, annihilated the seemingly massive Persian army and allowed them to be sliced up amongst the Chinese nations and accidentally destroyed the Ottoman Empire. I only intended to reduce them to a few provinces like a poster earlier suggested but I don't know where they went!

Nothing much in North America. Louisiana tried to declare independence in the pacific northwest but I put that rebellion down and stationed a medium sized army in the middle of the trouble spot. The Portuguese lost control of South America and a bunch of countries declared independence from it.

I still think that the adjective for the Knights should be Knightly (or Hospitaller if you're going to be picky). :)

Oooh. Nice. :D

That is a seriously impressive Knighly Empire.
What are those weird colours in southern Africa? The cyan one and the beige one, I can't place them.

Nice game, but i would say it gets negative points because you changed capital...to the Americas! Should've stayed at Rhodes, Constantinople, Antioch or Jerusalem!

And Brazil on Brazil! Huge Paraguay annoys me.

I vote for "Iohannic".

Wouldn't Iohannic be more appropriate for a nation like the euro idealization of Prester John?

NEVER SATISFIED, YOU PEOPLE :aargh:

But you're right I definitely should have moved my capitol to Jerusalem. :p And yes there's Brazil. Paraguay is the larger of the greens followed by Chile and La Penta(sic?) further south.

La Plata, not La Penta

And ofc, Staying in Europe is much better than going to the americas (Unless you're Portugal and form Brazil/Mexico/USA/something in D&T)

If you own all of the Americas (which I always end up do if I as much as start in the Western tech level - it must be part of my Iberian blood ), it's often much better to just move the capital overseas. ;)

It turns all those tariffs into much more profitable production and allows you to keep a smaller navy. I sometimes go from 3500 to 4500 yearly income just from doing that which is a very worthwhile investment. Sure, the cores required and the change of capital twice if you're not a OPM plus the overextension trigger can be obnoxious but in the long run it makes your country that much more rich and safe. Just make sure the capital is in continental NA so that you get production from the Caribbeans as well from SA. :D
