How is your EU3 Game going?

My Brittany game in 1614. I've conquered Poitou, linking up my European possessions and vassalized Berry. I'm contemplating conquering the provinces needed (3 from Burgundy, 2 from Berry, 1 from Champagne) needed to form France.

In the Americas, I've conquered the Inca and Huron, and I'm in the process of linking up all three colony groups. I've already got Mexico and Peru linked up, now I just have to encircle the Portuguese colonies to finish it off.

Austria and Scandinavia can pwn everyone in the world. :king:

Spoiler :
Although I'm beginning to get some rough rebel problems.

Burgundy started some trouble, so I quickly set things right. Dauphine made them release Bar in a seperate treaty, Luxembourg made them release Liege (in Luxembourg), and I've set some rebels loose in Ile-de-France to get France released and make it easier to take it individually.

I'm personally more shocked at the fact that Ming only controls a few bits and pieces of SE Asia, and the entire country of Machuria has moved South a-la-Poland. :p

Well, that kinda was because of Datkorea :D

Oh, some thingies you guys could know about taht game :
1. Austria inherited Aragon, and ended up fighting a lot of wars against Castille because of the province of Aragón (both countries had cores in it, thanks to a boundary dispure event)

2. Uhh, GB and Castille absolutely hate each other, that explains messy Venezuela and 13 colonies, they keep fighting at every chance they get.

3. After Castille inherited Burgundy Nevers revolted in the 4 provinces Castille couldn't access (i never gave them Millitary Access of course), just to get annexed by me as they were at war with the HRE as well (Castille gave 1 province to the emperor the month before Nevers declared independence). i had a core in one of their provinces thanks to the Claim in our rivals event, made things much easier, i would get the Castillian territories in Belgium in my single war of reconquest against them. (navarra and the province west of it were cores as well, but i got them in Austrian wars, as they were my allies)

4. Yeah, it should be the other way around, Castille inheriting Aragon and Austria inheriting Burgundy, but to me it's easier that way :D

5. in the first 5 years, despite owning all the 3 cores they start with, England offered me a alliance. strange, no?

So a lot has changed for the nation of Malaya recently. Malacca and Aceh rose again, which I quickly conquered. A royal marriage with Pegu yielded me their kingdom when I was the only legitimate heir. I switched to a feudal monarchy instead of a despotic one and as I've reached Government 11, I've added Colonial Ventures and Quest for the New World to begin expanding Malaya. I'm banking on colonizing one of those far off islands around New Zealand in case one of the European powers gets the idea of making a move before Westernization brings me to an equal level. Speaking of which, I've also begun the painful process of Westernizing. Rebels keep popping up here and there as I push forward, which is to be expected I guess. Usually it's one or two noble regiments here and there but there was an event where 11 reactionary regiments could have risen up, which I should probably prepare for with a quick response army that's ready to travel to any island to suppress a rebellion. Conquered the Maldives because I need a stepping stone to the lucrative markets of Europe. I also had a pirate problem, which could probably have been attributed to the lowered stability after I enacted Westernization, which I dealt with with difficulty as they were rather high technology ships and not like the natives on the islands at all. Using my Explorers and Conquistadors, I colonize Madagascar, parts of Somalia and now putting footholds on Australia.

My primary concern now is Castile as they're right next door, up there near Khmer. Fortunately I improved my relationship with them into the high positive diplomatic numbers and we'll see if the rebels in the region are able to fight the Castilians. Before that, it was the Portuguese I was worried about as they had been one of the owners of Aceh but France had waged a devastating war on their home provinces on the Iberian peninsula which took the heat off of me (Mental note: improve French relations)

So now my focus is improving my stability and once I get a high enough stability go back on a warmongering bender through Indochina if Castile gets pushed out! Here's a screenshot at maximum zoom now.

Nice, it's so much awesome to see all these islands under one nation, makes your borders look beautiful :D
will you try to take Indochina?

Yea, they pwned HRE Austria badly, i wasn't even willing to send troops, i just blockaded them instead when they invaded Austria

That's quite some Poland...

Since numerous people requested I play as Bavaria, here it is, year 1486:

bavaria.jpg

Poland and Lithuania have blobbed as usual, France is looking very scary as usual and England is claiming a Scandinavian empire, as usual. My vassals are Bohemia, Thurungia, Saxony and The Palatinate. My biggest mistake was not leaving the HRE when the game started - not I'm lumbered with the title of emperor, and cannot see a way of leaving without ending vassalisations as most of the electors are my vassals. (Don't ask me why, but I've always harboured a grudge againt the HRE and in every game I try and harm it as much as I can.)

I proved myself as the dominant power in the Empire by taking on Austria and utterly hammering them, but I was kind and only took two provinces. Bohemia started as emperor, but a sneaky war of aggression when their backs were turned soon changed that, and that's how I ended up with their lands, and infamy.

Also, a little something that tickled me:

twopopes.jpg

The Papal State conquered Naxos and then Byzantium revolted, as a Papacy! So for a short time, there were two popes, one catholic and the other orthodox.
