wassup with England??

Try the Magna Mundi mod. The events tend to do away with the monotony of rebel-whack-a-mole.

Thank you I will try and look into that, I usually dont use mods in any games* since I have had prior experiences with them ruining compatability with my friends' versions(you know the use-more-time-getting-games/computers-talking-than playing LAN sessions;))

*Does not aply to Fall From Heaven 2:mischief:

You can always double install the game to your hard drive, or manually copy the file folders if it doesn't do that. Then install the mod on the 2nd installation only.

Would that mean I would have have the entire game installed to times, meaning double the size on the hardrive?

In that case I rather try and live a little and install the mod.

Very nice, very nice. I don't really like the HRE much, even if I am the emperor.

That new map is positively gorgeous. Just saying.

And the improvement lists look very interesting.

While it does look gorgeous, I can't say I'm hugely thrilled by the features list. I mean "Play as one of four major daimyo’s in Japan vying for influence over the Emperor and control over the Shogunate" ain't much when I've been playing as one of 20 odd daimyos for the last couple of years with MM.

My first thought was, 'why only 4?'. Though, if it does add some nice new game mechanics about the shogunate and whatnot (I would hope for something vaguely similar to the HRE), modding the rest back in would make a much better Japan.

Probably because designing 20+ daimyo factions, on top of the improvements they want to make in China and elsewhere, would start stretching them thin - adding in extra countries is not the easiest thing to do.

The features I'm more interested in are the culture-specific buildings, the trade development and the internal factions in China.

Not when you want to get the history files to a degree that won't get you lynched by some people for every moment of every year that those countries existed, it's not.

The map changes alone would induce me to buy the game. I'm sold.
