If you disappear what do we think

I tried to leave - actually had left, a year and a half ago.
Probably shouldn't have returned.

I blame OCD. I mean I had dled and erased EUIIIDW something like 20 times... And back in the day I had bought and destroyed the CivIIGE disk almost ten times.

My departure, though it would probably be temporary, is contingent on actually getting around to finishing some posts on tanks that I've been putting off forever.

I can be found elsewhere, but almost no posters here have my contact info for other sites, so if I disappeared it could be quite a while before anyone noticed.

I have to say that @Synsensa and @Lemon Merchant are two of the most well-liked members around here and I don't believe they aren't aware of that.

Are you a right winger teetering on the cusp of saying "toss this leftist den of evil"?

That's also anywhere interesting or fun on the internet. Right-wingers who are both sane and practice what they preach don't go on social media; it's the unsavory or miserable types who show up.

If i disappear, think to yourself "he'll be back"....until I'm not

For those who say they wouldn't be missed, or their absence wouldn't even be noticed, I'd have to say from personal experience that you're probably wrong

My personal experience says differently. There have been times when I have disappeared for months at a time and no one really seemed to notice.

There are certain people I already miss, just like there are several I absolutely wouldn't miss.

If I couldn't come here any more, I'd try to make sure that I at least informed the other staff, so that they could slap a green retired swatch on me at the very least.
But who would replace a Dremora Courtier?

I've had multiple multi-year absences and given the structure of this forum, I almost certainly will again. It seems that a lot of the same conversations happen again and again, between the same people, to the same ends. That's both a criticism and a compliment: the place can become monotonous, but like Cheers, it also has an enduring allure and familiarity.

If anyone is going to personally miss me during those lulls, might be better to find me on twitter or discord.

No one seemed to notice when I killed and replaced the previous loser who used this account 4 years ago.
It’s weird you say that because at some point I was like “didn’t this guy used to have really different opinions?” a few years back .

How considerate.

EDIT: Did posts disappear?

Careful, he might be a pod person.

That's my absolute favourite part of this forum!

I'm invested in you all. I want to see how the character developments pan out in this rather weird story! :D

I am disappeared now.

Yo, same.

If I left suddenly, you guys would all have a party.
You are mistaken.

When I go I'm taking CFC down with me.
Someone already tried that:

3/6/08

On the second of March 2008
By 2:19 it was already too late:
The hacker came cloaked and stealthy
Spying what was fun and healthy,
With tools arcane and evil grin,
Telefragged's guards were then done in;
With malicious thoughts and spiteful glee
The foul fellow went on a deleting spree:
Love's labor’s ripped from our soul
Left a tangled mess and gaping hole;
What once was fine and now's in shambles,
Was lost to hate, so now we scramble
To rebuild all with efforts fair,
A finer place for those who care,
Where kindness wins out in the end,
With the files so many quickly send.

I have given this lots of thought over the years, but have no plan. Upon my sudden death, I'd be gone. Roasted, toasted, and dispersed at sea. I've been here for a long time and for the middle part of those years I've chronicled lots of events (like the one above and member b'days or other interesting things that happened). I have all of those verses saved. Almost all of those short poetry-like posts are were written to and for some poster. Many of those posters are gone, and most probably don't care, but I am fond of the history they contain.
