Well, you're right, the update itself doesn't take that long to compile, but I want to modify the rules a bit, particularly to make it easier to manage LP and I don't have a good idea at the moment. I also have other things I'd like to do in the meantime (like the DYOS Christmas special). And updating on Christmas Day seems like bad form. So that's why Boxing Day.
