Several of the other forums I frequent have an in-line spoiler option, in addition to the regular spoiler block insert. It basically blurs out a word or phrase without breaking up a sentence with a hidden spoiler block.

Is this something that could be implemented using Spoiler?

It would have to be in addition to the current version, since a lot of the times when spoiler tags are used, it's for images that are either larger than normal, or that might be controversial, disturbing, or skirting the forum rules a bit.

It would also have to work on every skin, as typing in the same color as the background won't help if someone else is using a different theme and can still see the text.

That's what I meant, "in addition to" not "instead of", which is what the other forums do. It's mainly meant to spoiler in-line text.

I support this too.

I had no idea people conversed in site feedback.

I like the blur out as an option.

Of course if you and whoever your post might be directed to both use the same forum skin, and make the "spoilered" text the same color as the background, it could work. Sorta. If the match works between font and background (I've seen forums where it can go either way).

But that only works well on forums with zero choice, so it's not really practical here.

^That happens involuntarily to some users' posts every now and then, for some reason.

They disappear?

One thing I find annoying with the Dark CFC skin is that when someone uses the "code" tag, I can't read anything within the tags. The font and background are the same color. That's a glitch that should have been fixed years ago.

No, I meant the text being recoloured to black instead of automatic, so those of us who use black backgrounds cannot see what is posted.
