I am playing Quantum Break. I can see what this game is doing and I appreciate that, but lord is it unenjoyable so far. Two hours in and it feels like it's actually been twenty. Kind of thinking I'll drop it even though I like its premise and the idea of merging show and game.

The real house I modeled this on did not nearly take up as much space as it does on the lot, nor does it have as many windows. Also, the house was brick (similar color) but I used tile instead. I'm guessing the house I saw was probably built in the early-to-mid 1970's.

I suppose I could have made it a bit smaller, and probably should have. Oh well, if I hate it, down it goes!

What game is this?

I used to spend a lot of time modelling buildings as well, but in Roller Coaster Tycoon. Like these:

What do you make the things out of? Polystyrene?

I personally don’t like the construction of new houses here. I know they are structurally better, but they look cheap and have fewer windows and are just kind of boxy and plain. I’ll have to find some examples sometime to show.

With lock-downs everywhere I am participating even more in Magic : "It's not a Gathering officer ! " Arena. I think I am becoming good at it Tonight at the "Friday Night Magic" (at home) event I've managed to score two glaring wins ! ^^ First time playing Brawl format :O (must be the beginner's luck). But what's worth the victory if You cant brag about it right ? First battle was grueling epic struggle between "Heliod the Sun-Crowned" (forces of light) and "Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose" (forces of darkness - me ^^ hey don't judge they've got cookies !) so I won't brag about it , I'll rather brag about my second quick victory ^^ :

Following is a battlefield shot where I've managed to pull out 6 / 6 point 6... flying demon with "lifelink" on turn 5 (commander in play) using these cards :

I'm suffering from PoE hangover.

My witch is going nowhere-no matter what I do, I can clear maps just fine only to die to some BS one-shot. I've been trying to max out ES, creeping toward 5k, but with my physical reductions being so low, it's not really working.

I've had a few ideas for a new char, didn't pan out either. According to PoB, even with perfect rolls on crafted items, I've been left with less DPS than I have on my witch right now.

Played Europa Universalis IV MP game last night.

About to reform Morocco via Portugal and be the king of gold.

Seized the Aztec gold, Morocco gold, Mali gold, expanding towards Peru and Mutapa to take their gold as well.

Also cheesed some missions to get gold in Brazil.

Inflation is becoming a thing and they banned the idea group to control it. Solution is obvious more gold. Slave trade also fired but wasn't me.

After forming Morocco gonna become Muslim as Africa and Kilwa areas I want are Muslim, then form Andalusia for those sweet sweet ideas.

Then going to develop the gold mines and convert Americas to Muslim Alahu Akbar.

Ethiopia also has gold. Hmmnn.

I'm playing as Portugal but have annexed Morocco.

About to culture shift the Moroccan culture, convert to Islam and trigger the Morocco missions.

I've been playing Morrowind.

I managed to track down spells of mark/recall and an amulet of recall. I put a mark down next to a chest in my apartment in Vivec's Foreign Quarter.

Also I stumbled across a creepy Daedric shrine in the middle of the city sewers. Everyone in there tried to kill me. Nice.

American Truck Simulator has added a Mack, a Western Star, a Volvo and an International. Last time I played, they only had a couple of Peterbilts and a couple of Kenworths.

Playing Final Fantasy X on PC. It's the first JRPG I've ever played and I'm finding it pretty enjoyable. So far the characters aren't a bunch of wangsty wierdos being all sad and serious, which is a plus. There is some great art direction (and I love the bright tropical colors!) without everything feeling overdesigned. Apparently the game got some crap for its voice acting, but I'm not seeing and problems with it. The main characters are all pretty good (though I keep imagining Wakka as Bender, Dohn DiMaggio's Bender voice shines through) and the minor characters are.... fine.
EDIT: Strangest part is the post-battle victory animations. Lulu bends over to let me see in fully 3D glory her cleavage, and Waka has this weird pelvic thrusting he does.

Turns out my Portugal into Morocco quest got delayed.

I'm cheesing various portuguese missions as some of them are permanent modifiers.

Then going to form Morocco and convert to Islam switching various government reforms to cheese out money.

Plan is to eat Africa while having outposts in Hormuz and Goabvia Portugal.

Then gonna form another country to cheese those missions. Think my economy will be bigger than the Ottomans at that point with superior units, tech, national ideas and gold.

Might switch back to christianity at that point.

Empire of gold and cheese. Abuse so cheesy I can make fondue.

Outer Worlds was fun, pleasant (if basic) gameplay and tons of dark humor.
Ending pretty weak and disappointing though, the last mission feels very rushed and a bit out of the blue.
The DLC was good if very (very) predictable (seriously, who didn't guess nearly from the get go who the "mysterious opponent" was ?).

The most chilling aspect is that, under all the dark jokes, the comically criminal decisions taken by corporations in the game are actually what real-life ones try to sneak behind legislation. We're really barely into fiction here.

The problem is sheer scope of it. It makes orienting in the possibilities quite complicated. For example...I thought I had something in my fireball/incinerate combo, because it doubled cast speed while providing additional close range damage without spending passive points. Then I found out how a single support gem-spell echo-boosts cast rate way beyond what cast while channeling can provide. And then I found out how crappy the fire support gems are for spells compared to lightning ones, which prompted complete rethink of my character....

There are so many combinations and possibilities and the math on damage and defense is complex and mostly unknown to players. I use trial and error mostly once I hit some barrier to making progress. Tabula Rosa's help and...I finally got Path of Building to work! My game world is pretty confined because I limit myself to real melee only. I can ignore having to learn the subtleties of magic, range fighting, and raising armies of zombies or other specters. Let me know how you redo your toon.
