IOT: Land Ho!

That's not it. If you scrolled up about 4 posts...

Sorry, it confused me when I saw that the areas I outlined in my claims were blue, thought they were mine. :p

I knew you were talking about this, but I was talking about why you didn't get Yemen, not why you couldn't attack Ethiopia.

TERRORISM IN ARAGON!
rome-burning.jpg
King Ramiro II and the Palace Guard are holed up in the Palace, and Nova Zaragoza's gate is closed. A group of Catholics, angry about the change of religion had been running around the countryside, burning and looting protestant churches. They have murdered at least 3 preists, and have burned down the estates of 3 Dukes. The damage is estimated in the millions of dineros. The Catholic Freedom guerillas have managed to escape the Royal Patrol so far, but they are closing in.

King Ramiro II has denounced the Pope for this transgression. 1% of the Catholic holdouts have converted to Protestantism, and have joined the search for the elusive CF guerillas.

Though this is not how His Holiness would have dealt with the situation, he can understand the actions of the Aragonian guerillas. One can only spread lies & propaganda for so long before people fight for the truth. He promises them asylum if they can make it across the Papal border with Aragon. If Aragonian troops follow them into the lands of the Holy See, it shall be considered an act of war against us.

New Rule: From next turn onwards, and the beginning of every turn, you can specify your troop configuration for that turn- divide them per province. No response = equal division of troops per province.

This will matter for surprise attacks.

Your nerfed the HRE?
The above rule kinda sucks, You can't really ever have a good protection against surprise DoWs as the spread will always be weak.
One more question, How far can armies move in an attack? i.e. can they just attack adjacent provinces?

Right, but it saves me from having to decide for you when you have fewer armies than provinces and I have to split up armies myself to avoid decimals.

But this way you can concentrate your armies in places where you think a surprise DoW is most likely to come from.

HRE was nerfed by a random event.

Can we say borders or regions instead of provinces, like for me, Portugal, Aquitaine, or Tunisia, or Spain could say which of the four cardinal directions?

Horah for the new rule having nothing to do with me!

Brittany meant to say "Plus, when insulted, he doesn't turn the other cheek, he gets angry."

Writing with a mouse sucks. I'm going to use text next time someone says something like that, assuming I do another one.

Lastly, in my second comic, I was going to introduce Carthage, Aquitaine, and Brittany, but the random event changed things, so Carthage and Aquitaine have basically no character right now, and Brittany was going to say like one thing.

The UNR has a freedom of religion in place so this whole Reformation thing is nothing to them.

For your benefit, a map of the now-Balkanized HRE. Orange is Switzerland, Green is Saxony, blueish grey is the HRE, divided into an eastern and Western section. Yellow is the Duchy of Milan.
