IOT Organisational and Discussion Thread

He did. I feel sorry.

As time goes on its becoming evident I have less and less time to frequent these forums. Between getting fit, counseling, school, searching for colleges, extracurriculars, etc. I am starting to have to really manage what time I can call free time. So, sadly, I'm going to have to drop out of all active IOTs I'm in.

I'll still be on for I&B because it appears my actions in joining have inspired a wave that changed the world rather greatly. And I will keep Great Abyss signups up for the next week if only because I would feel bad for the people who have put effort in their applications so far. However, I will not be running a two-player game. If more people don't sign on I will have to put it on hold.

So yeah, sorry to the GMs of the games I was previously active in. Granted I get control of my situation I will certainly come back.

Crap, I'd better get to work.

I assume that this means that your IOT is dead?

I think a lot of IOTs are going to drop like flies soon. Summergeddon is over, so the young base that IOT is built on is going to be a lot more strained for time to play and GM games.

May he with the most efficient management of his study time win!

Bullcrap. Holidays are when people pack their time with more activities, as a rule of thumb.

People seem to loathe the concept of relax.

Yeah, what the hell is that about? I'll never understand people.

I defend a "Do whatever you want to do" approach. It amuses my family when they ask me what have I done and I say reading and going to the beach and have a walk and they say "so you're just being lazy" and I say "hell yes".

Yes, SilliNES2 is even TOO SILLI 4 YOU 2.

EDIT: I'm not being patronizing, since someone asked. I also advertised TerraNES here. I'm all for IOT-NESer unification, and running games friendly to all is part of that.

If anybody has been wondering where've I been, lets just say things have come up and I will need to withdraw from everything for the forseeable future.

I'm sorry all however as I'm sure you can imagine I no longer have the time to do any of this properly.
I just can't seem to find the time in the day to properly GM a game and be part of 3 others, I picked up too many games at the same time as GMing and on top of real life concerns i just can't manage all of it at the same time. To this end I am quitting from all games I am currently in and putting SpoM on a hiatus until my return.

Obviously as a post script to this I just want to say a few things. Though I currently don't have the time to commit myself to this I do just want to say that the people here are great. I may pop in to chat from time to time however I just feel and can't give any of the games my all. I took on too many at the same time as GMing and it all just crashed a bit. I may come back in at a time in my life where everything has settled down a bit more, however until then all I can say is that you're a wonderful bunch of people and I'll miss playing with you.

But... IB5... :(

We will miss you and your Port Hadley, Robert!
