Is Britain about to leave the EU?

Hm, apparently the spanish gov already asks for 'joint rule' of Gibraltar? (although that is a can of worms for Spain, given Catalonia and the other republics there?)

I hope England keeps its precious bases in Cyprus, though :( :)

The big can of worms for Spain are its possessions in North Africa, completely analogous to Gibraltar. So they don't get to be too histrionic about it.

If you look at RT for an hour or two, you can see whole of the Russian Foreign Policy team doing the kazak jig about the potential implosion of the EU and further segmentation of the UK. Well done. Let chaos reign.

On the other hand, if you look at RT for an hour or two, your brain will start to bleed out from your ears.

Ops wrong thread (cell phone to small, cant see which thread i am in)

Nice brexit btw. Much better for the EU.

Eh, I like to look at how they put their own spin on every event that happens. (besides their talk shows are hilarious in all the right/wrong ways)

The "official" articles aren't the worst. They at least have some measure of subtlety in their propaganda.
The comments, though, are just low-grade but acute cancer.

I dont have an English link but apparently London wants to remain part of the EU! This is getting really messy...

This could be the start of a more independent London movement, but certainly there won't be any London leave referendums anytime soon. Possibly they look to have their own parliament at some point? even that seems far fetched at this point.

What about special status (economywise) ala the West Berlin in the East Germany?

why is the dow falling? I don't get why this is bad for the US. We don't export that much to Britain.

Bookies odds are massively skewed for Remain now. http://www.oddschecker.com/politics...-on-eu-membership-result?selectionName=remain

Most have Remain odds on, between 1/6 and 1/12.

I'd just like to brag about turning pocket change into more pocket change. See I had $0.75 left on my Predictit account when I saw this post. Brexit was trading at $0.15, and I thought that was low, so I bought 5 shares. I'm now the proud owner of $4.25 (okay, $3.82 after fees). Not only that, this is the second time I've called a 15-85 chance correctly for the underdog: the other was that Clinton would win the South Dakota primary. :smug:

You guys are about to lose your fifth column in Europe.

Good thing you were betting $ and not £

Yeah, now I'm just hoping that the pound eventually falls below $1 so that we get a further reason to taunt our masters-turned-sidekicks.

I admit my faith in bookies has been blown a big hit. Let's just hope they're also not wrong about Trump (they're giving Clinton 75% odds of winning).

Uncertainty. Nervous day traders, short sellers and those who made a lot of money on yesterday's 250 point rise.

You could at least thank us for rejecting EUR and holding onto our GBP. I'm not following the charts but I'd be weary of the retracement, which is going to occur on an announcement during UK/EU trading hours when the biggest currency players are tuned in.
