I think he was using some sort of "appeal to authority" to win the argument, and was countered by an actual scientist. I could be wrong, and would have to go to the original (which he could have changed anyway).
It honestly seems like some people are projecting their own feelings on to him rather than simply making a real look at the evidence of what he has said or done.
Asking for evidence for claims others have made means I am making conclusions without evidence? That really is not logical. Are you sure that is the argument you want to use?

I know, the man's a creep through and through and it's amazing how all possible interpretations of his statements make him look insane and/or criminal.
The guy has straight up said he has Aspergers. He is really good with numbers and technology and really bad with people and social cues. I think that explains like 99% of his behavior. At least he has been able to use his strengths productively.

I would suggest that all of these are consistent with my thesis. He is really good at interacting with engineering problems and really bad at interacting with people and social problems. That’s a big part of why Tesla and SpaceX are so successful and Twitter is not.

He has teams in the first two companies dedicated to keeping him away from engineering. Not a social problem. It's the other people doing the (good) engineering.
